"I know I said I had things to do early tomorrow... But do I really?"

"Sure, i have a bit of time"

 

"Certainly, young Hilda." Silva says, casting a rune of invisibility on both himself and Hilda.

A couple of minutes past as Kindra and Tae ate quietly when some more girls filed into the cafeteria. Several shrieks rang as Lysanna shoved her way past a group of freshmen and filled her tray sloppily with a bowl of caesar salad and a glass of iced tea. She flipped her hair back as she began stabbing her fork rather viciously into the bowl,

"So, how are we doing this fine morning?"

Kindra raised her eyebrows and glanced at Tae, clearing her throat,

"Uhh, good? Something...the matter?"

"Ugh! It's nothing, it's whatever!"

Stepping outside, Lux looked around him and noticed a change of pace in the streets beside the docks. Several groups of people seem to be traveling towards the docks, crowds already forming around some newly arrived ships.

Mr. Nevic continued on with his lecture and Frozlar, deciding to be studious, scribbled down some notes as to what he was talking about. The bell rang sharply above the class and Mr. Nevic placed down his pointing stick and went back to his desk,

"Break between first and second period. You may talk amongst yourselves, go to the restroom, or take care of something outside the room. You have five minutes."

Several students got up from their seats and went outside, others spun around in their desks to talk with each other, and a few pulled out a book from their backpack. Elizabeth turned to Frozlar and rested her chin on her hand,

"So! Whatcha wanna talk about?"

"Ehh, we'll see. Maybe if you're lucky, I'll let you roam around and do some errands for me."

Eventually, the carriage reached the blacksmith shop/home and Ky alongside his grandfather hopped off. Bidding the driver farewell, Ky's grandfather began walking up to his room,

"Get some sleep, you'll need it. I'll give you some of the gold for actually doing the work tomorrow."

"Alright, cool! See ya there."

Hearing the door and a few windows being opened, Kollin got up and went over to his closet. He debated about dressing in the tavern's uniform to make a quick coin and go undercover to meet Harto's messenger or to just keep it casual, saving him some time and effort.

Hilda clapped her hands in delight and began tugging on Silva's cloak,

"Okay! Uhmm...is it this way? No, wait, here! Doh, umm..Oh! We need to find the fountain nearby. I think I can hear it too!"

Surprisingly having to keep up with Hilda, Silva chased after the girl as their footsteps tapped lightly against the street. He was grateful that there doesn't seem to be any people outside at the moment as he caught up to Hilda,

"Oo, I think it's right around here."

The sounds of people shouting and water splashing slowly filled their ears and Hilda turned back to Silva,

"Huh? I don't remember anything special happening tonight. Should we go look?"

 

I'll be going in the uniform to go undercover and also make a bit of coin if i get a bit of time I'll try to brew a potion of invisability(I've regained mana right?) if not then i just work and hope to meet Beci

 

Head towards the crowd to see what the he'll I see happening

 

"Are you sure you're okay? I think that salad would like a more peaceful death." Tae said in a somewhat serious tone before taking another bite of her sandwich.
"I know you don't really know me, but if you want to tell us something, I won't tell anyone."

 

"Got it."
Unpack all my items and clean them off (Especially the tools). Return then all to thwir proper places.
Then go to sleep.

 

"That is for you to decide, young Hilda. I am merely escorting you." Silva says, smiling at Hilda.

 

(sleeping restores half of your MP. drinking/eating food can also restore HP/MP. I'll also be rounding down for odd number stats.)
Dressing up in his Goldenberry attire, Kollin feels like he could attempt to brew an invisibility potion before heading to Harto's at noon. [Sleep: +5 MP]
It was typical Goldenberry work as Kollin worked a quick hour, tending to some guests as well as his guildmembers in disguise. Kollin never saw Beci as he worked and a guildmember working the bar passed
3 Silver over the counter to him. He went back to his room at 11:30 and attempted to brew his potion.
Potion of Invisibility: 1-59 = Fail / 60-100 = Success / X = Critical Success ||||||||| Result = 89

Summoning his reagents and recalling the recipe from his journal, Kollin mixed his ingredients in his miniature cauldron. He looked around the room and found a small vial perfect for his potion. Pouring the clear, water-like fluid in the glass, Kollin corked the bottle and pocketed it. [-4 MP] [2/11MP] [4 Gold / 3 Silver]
Potion of Invisibility ~ A potion that cloaks the user in a mist not seen by typical people. Can be dispelled by a cleansing spell. Last for 1 Hour.

Making his way towards the crowds, Lux noticed several similarly garbed figures like the ones he met last night speak to those listening. Most of those watching were craftsmen and other workers that are situated in the docks. Several ships that were docked looked rather beaten up; sides were dented, pieces of metal hung off and swayed in the wind, and other broken aspects riddled the exterior and possibly the interior as well. Going closer to one of the groups, Lux tuned into the woman speaking,

"...Then you must repair the hull of the ship. We haven't sent anyone inside of a vessel yet, so just be wary that a job there may be needed as well. Again, we'd like to thank you all for helping our great Wynvia! Campaigner Decro is graciously thankful for you all. Once you have your tools, please assist with the repairs. We'll have supervisors stand by to ensure your safety."

Lysanna rolled her eyes and calmed her stabbing to a simple mixing, taking a bite from her greens before speaking,

"My parents are again going to some stupid politics meeting and now I have nothing to do this weekend but to stay at the institution. I mean, it's not bad or anything, but when you haven't seen your family in what? Three months? You think something might be up."

Kindra sighed and patted Lysanna's shoulder as the girl ate, her expression sincere but with a hint of sadness,

"It's okay, Lys. It's not the end of the world, right?"

"Yeah, whatever. I'll drop it, not like I need to be in a bad mood for the first day anyways."

Unpacking his items and quickly cleaning them up, Ky yawned as he felt more and more tired. The tools took a bit more effort than he expected, but nonetheless, he polished them as his grandfather taught him to. Putting the tools back in their distinguished drawers, hooks, and even table locations, Ky changed into some decent sleeping wear and tossed himself onto the bed, sleeping in an instant.

As the sunlight slowly beamed through Ky's window, he yawned and wobbled slightly over to his curtains. Pushing them aside, he looked out as red and green decorations still fly above the buildings in Seston. He guessed his grandfather must've heard him and heard him call out,

"Ky! Breakfast is done, get down here."

Hilda nodded her head and began walking closer to the commotion, Silva right behind her. His ears quirked as the sounds of shouting seem more to be out of content than of agony or fear. Rounding the street corner, the duo saw the fountain Hilda was talking about as well as a large crowd of nobles standing in front of a makeshift stage and podium. An announcer wearing extravagant robes and jewelry called out to the crowd,

"Settle down, please! We shall reconvene here tomorrow night for the final part of our ceremony. Thank you once more for attending, we shall see you soon!"

The group of nobles alongside their children began walking away from the announcer, several of them forming parties whilst others simply walked away alone. Hilda stood on her tip-toes as she tried to peer over the dispersing crowd,

"Was this part of an induction ceremony? Usually, they host these during the day, so why was this one at night? That's funny. Anyways, let's try and cut through the crowd."

 

Wouldn't i have regained a little bit from drinking the dark beer the day before in that case?

I'll silk up my daggers again and take to the roof tops trying to stay unseen as i head to Harto's

 

"Coming!"
Move to wash my face first. Cold water should wake me up.
Then head down to breakfast.

 

"I hope you get to see them soon. My dad used to stay up late for work and I remember how mad I was at him every time he didn't come home in time, so I can't believe how it must feel to not see your parents in three months." Tae said empathetically, taking a deep breath and letting it out.

 

Check to see what tools the others have

 

(you're right I completely forgot that Kollin drank something that could've regained some MP, please forgive me on that end. I'll make sure to pay more attention; specific food and drink can regain HP/MP, I'll mention if it does during the player's parts. Thought I'd let everyone know here as a mini offbeat update.)

Kollin felt the warm summer air fly through his hair as he leaped from rooftop to rooftop, quickly making his way to Harto's. He felt like taking the daggers with him was a decent call enough, not knowing what he'll expect from the noble's residence. Eventually, Kollin made it to the same spot the guild coordinated their run from and looked above him. The sun was hanging right above him and not a moment later, Kollin could hear some footsteps tap on the cobblestones. He crouched down and peered over the roof, seeing a woman with a cloak and hood over her slowly walking towards Lord Harto's door. Kollin debated about what his next move should be...

Splashing some cold water on his face, Ky rubbed his face a few times to help clean the sleep off of him. Patting himself dry, Ky walked down the stairs and into the kitchen/dining room within their shop home. It was fairly quaint, not as decorated and extravagant as Lord Feo's, but simple enough to feel like home. A painting of a forest landscape and pond hung on a nearby wall, the table was fairly well maintained with a pot of daisies on it, and Ky's grandfather was apparently cooking several eggs whilst fixing up a small salad. His grandfather spoke to him as he cooked the eggs,

"Remember that little mention I had about doing some errands for me? Well, today's your lucky day. I'm sending you out with a list of what I need. You'll have to travel around Seston a bit, there's something I found that only the merchant district a way to our East has. I've prepared a pouch of 10 Gold for you, but eat up before you go. I don't want you wasting hard-earned Gold and Silver."

Ky's grandfather began preparing plates of eggs and salad mix, turning to look at Ky over his shoulder,

"Mind fetching us silverware and a bowl of grapes? Silverware's in the drawer to your left and grapes are in the fridge."

Lysanna stopped eating for a moment and stole a quick glance at Kindra. She cleared her throat and took a sip of her water,

"I'm sorry to hear, Tae. Thank you for comforting me, I appreciate the thoughtful words. I'm sure your parents are lovely and hard-working people and I'm glad you're still a kind person to this day."

Kindra nodded her head and smiled at Tae, finishing the last of her food as she spoke,

"She's right, Tae! My parents hover over me any waking minute they can, so I'm sorry that I can't really connect to you as Lys can. But! Your family seems pretty cool! Did they come with you to orientation?"

Taking the moment to glance over at the other blacksmith's gear and tools, Lux saw most of them wielding hammers, sculpting utensils, and other basic tools. He presumed most of them were thinking they'll just use whatever they have on them. A few of them seemed to be speaking with these robed figures regarding using their magic circle to aid the repairs but were hesitantly denied. Something about making sure magic doesn't touch the ships barely made it to Lux's ears.

 

"Yep, got it."
Go grab said things and set them on he table before realizing what he said.
"Wait, I get to go out today?"

 

"Uh, no, they didn't. Also, thanks you two. They are very nice indeed." She smiled down at her mostly empty tray. She then looked up to Kindra.
"I'm glad your parents and you have a nice connection."

 

It's okay it wouldn't have changed my actions up to this point.

I'll keep observing what happens next and try to unlock the trap door if it's locked again, but mainly paying attention to the women

 

"Um... life, I guess. How's life?"

 

I guess I should just wait now
