I tug at the root multiple times in an attemtp to unhinge my foot. Once that doesn't prove fruitful, I slowly raise my hand and press my palm against the root. The root whiters and I easily pull my foot out. I stand up and start running before I'm pulled to the ground by another root.
"Oh come on!"

The creature screeches, the glint of sharp ivory teeth visible even in the dark. It quickly vanishes, but more of it's brethren gather, holding just at the edge of your vision. Their eyes are blank and dull, and their forms shift in the dark.

I feel like I should iterate here- perhaps it wasn't clear. Everyone in the coven is speaking in sync, you didn't have a choice on that bit of dialogue you did, and you weren't giving the speech but the entire coven as a whole.

 

Nixis stands tall, even though he knows he won't be able to take down these creatures on his own.
"Do you need anything?" He says, trying to hold his fear.

My mind fills with confusion. I don't stop speaking or more like I can't stop speaking. Trying to blend in I try to figure out what is happening,why am I speaking. I listen to my and the other voices.

@Stag2005 bravely snuck into area 51 to uncover the truth of government secrets and corruption - Oh and evidence they've been breeding giant potatoes.
While he was sneaking through the ventilation shaft, he got stuck, tripped an alarm, and got shot.

 

Curious about @Stag2005's disappearance, @Florfy5 led a squad of liberals who defected from the U.S. army due to Trump being president into Area 51 with the help of another defector in Area 51, only to find evidence giant potatoes, and genetic experiments performed on @Stag2005. He got out okay, but his entire squad died.
