@Linwood Welheart you're mostly right. It's not only air that forces you in though, it's a strange magic devised by the Witch.


The fire doesn't seem to do any impact. So you turn into semi-human form and do whatever you said you will do.

Gluttony roars, sending so much wind up from its mouth, it puts out the fire and sends Asakeryu into the air.

Gluttony opens his mouth again to catch Asakeryu.

Suddenly, something rams into Asakeryu. The fox lands on the ground, rolling to break his fall. Remilia lands a second after.

"You okay, fox?" Remilia shouts over the annoyed roar of Gluttony.


Rathius sends a volley of fire towards Sloth - then realises that Octavus is with him. Sloth grabs Octavus and jumps out of the way. That have distracted him, and the time-slowing magic is dispersed. Rathius turns his body-...

He sees Wrath in front of him, her enormous sword lifted overhead. If he got one hit from it, his scales will be nothing to shield it!

A circular blade shoots at Wrath, and she barely dodges it. The chakram flies back towards Alina, the captain of Sarmir. She holds two chakrams in both her hands as she shoots towards Wrath. Behind her, Emily and Rouland follows. Emily lands on a roof and starts shooting arrows towards the two Sins in the air.

No, you can't!" Scar shouts. She's an SS class. She'll instead possess you....

"Basil." Fen'ris says. "Tell me the truth - is it possible to bind Sylphaxaura?"

Not for a long time. Basil says. If everyone here and the powers of the binding crystals were used as a spell to boost your spiritual energy. Those crystals, after all, were used to bind Sylphaxaura. Beating Sylphaxaura into control, will be an enormously hard task. Even if you succeed in binding her, you have to beat her inside your head before she can take control of your body.

The woman does not answer. She doesn't seem to be conscious, even.

Sena remembers how the woman was stabbed, and that triggered this powerful energy. Sena closes her eyes. She feels a strange power inside the woman, which has been unleashed by the skeleton's blow. Sena opens her eyes, suddenly feeling nauseous. Did she just feel the tengu's spiritual energy? That was just like she was a... monster.

She looks up at her horns. No, she was a monster.

Her first priority was to stopping this woman. She tries to channel the newfound power, which seems to come from the horns. As she focuses, chunks of earth under her starts to rise, forming two fists in the air next to her. She moves her hand slightly, and the giant fist moves synchronised with it.

"And is it possible to kill Sylphaxaura?"

 

"Maybe attacking Gluttony might be easier."
I land on the ground and charge towards Gluttony. When I'm close I release a cloud of gas, making him unable to breathe.
"Gained some weight, Gluttony?"

Oh. Yeah I see. I meant for her to hear it.

 

"Thanks. I owe you one," I say to her. "Now, how do we beat these things? Everyone has a fatal weakness, the sins are no exception... I just have to find it..."

I look down, thinking. "I just had a thought... What would happen if a large amount of light magic were to be concentrated in one place? I'm not sure about trying it, it could go really well or really poorly, and pretty much all our allies are nearby... But I guess it's a last resort," I say before looking at Gluttony. "Actually, what would happen if a sword were to be put in his mouth?"

 

"He would eat it, with you following."
I land next to Asakeryu.
"I fought him before and he'll eat anything that come to close or in range of his pull."
"I did have some thoughts about Sloth. He slows time right, but does he completely freeze is? If he doesn't, something INCREDIBLE fast could hit him. Lightning for example."

You probably can't talk as a dragon, but where will we get lightning?

 

Someone know lightning magic?
In some movies dragons can talk and some dragons can't. So... I idk

Well, those things I've said are now thoughts then

 

Realizing this new power, I begin to try and get any injured Feldurim to safety, and away from the demon

 

I remain silent for a moment.

"No... not presently, at least. Soul binding is a component of what my kind call Felldark magic... better know to mortals as necromancy - the use of darkness to manipulate life and death itself. I've never dabbled in such routes, and while I might be able to bind a soul a class or two lower than myself, I cannot bind an S class. Such powers are restricted to the entities that dwell in the deepest parts of our realm."

I suddenly pause.

"I wonder..." I drift off, a vague idea starting to form in my head.

 

I don't know. Basil says. You can probably crush both of us in your mind if you wanted to, but that will probably take a lot of power. Sylphaxaura possesses so much power, equivalent to one of a Divine if she recovers fully. I don't know if that power extends to her mind.

It's too risky! Scar shouts.

(@Linwood Welheart I did state that dragons change personality and cannot speak. However, I've ignored this for the entire time and have forgotten about it. So, let's just say you can talk and you just stay the same person)

There are cracking sounds in front of Gluttony. Stones from the ground starts to form a huge humanoid shape in front of Gluttony. It stands as big as Gluttony, with a hunched back, a pair of thick, heavy arms, and stout legs. A golem. It opens its mouth and roars into Gluttony's face.

Gluttony roars back. The golem swings its massive arm, catching Gluttony at the side of the face.

"Yes!" Remilia shouts.

The golem lifts its other arm for a downward blow at the Sin's head. Gluttony roars and catches the arm. He stands up slowly, holding the golem's arm. The golem throws another arm from the side, but Gluttony takes a step back, making the golem off balance. Gluttony grabs the golem's head and bites down. The golem thrashes, but soon becomes limp. Gluttony finishes the golem somehow in a few seconds.

With multiple cracks, Gluttony's body becomes larger. Now it is larger than Rathius. The soldiers, dismayed by the golem's defeat, flee from the monster. It's skin was hard, it was big.

Gluttony opens its mouth wide. The force starts to pull against the running soldiers.

 

"Well, guess it's time for the last resort..."

I'll try to concentrate a large amount of light magic and aim at Gluttony's mouth when he turns to face me. When I have a shot at the inside of his mouth, I say, "Here goes nothing!" and fire.

 

"No!!"
I jump between the running soldiers and Gluttony, spreading my wings I try to catch the 'flying' soliders who are pulled of the groundby Gluttony.

Spoiler: Stance

 

Setinel ducks low, evading Jack's shadow punch. The girl jumps in from the side, slashing her twin daggers, making Jack stagger back. The boy swings his scythe, aiming for Jack's head....

Clank!

A three-pointed dagger falls to the ground. The surprised Setinel stops the attack, and he and the girl look towards the source. A brown haired boy stands, panting, with Lucian, Silrait, Caiden and two other cloaked figures. Jack drops to one knee, panting hard.

"Let's... talk first..." Ben pants. Setinel lifts an eyebrow at Lucian. "Well, isn't it the young captain Lucian. How was the expedition to Arnuma?"

"Not good." Lucian mutters. "Scythe Setinel and Vysticia. This boy..." Lucian motions at Jack. "He's an ally. He has helped us from a pack of Morgalum in the Western Fields."

Setinel looks at Jack. "He's a demon himself."

Vysticia stares at Lucian. "There was a dozen of you when you left to the land of Giants - what happened to the rest? Don't tell me you lost them to the gian-..."

"No." Lucian says, his expression grim. "They were slain by the Morgalum. They were powerful, especially the leader. We only escaped with Jack helping us."

"Why would a demon help humans against his own kind?" The girl holding a two-bladed glave asks.

Rathius successfully stops the soldiers from Gluttony. Their weapons, however, makes cuts in your wings. You roar in pain. (You can still fly but it will be painful)

Asakeryu turns into his fox form and roars. Light magic starts to form in the air, forming a shape of an arrow. Gluttony opens his mouth, and the arrow shoots into his mouth.

WHOOOOM!

Gluttony roars and staggers back, smoke rising from his open mouth. It looks down, panting.

Tch. It didn't kill him. Asakeryu thinks. Gluttony rises, and that surprises Asakeryu. It wasn't even fatal!

Gluttony roars.
(I think you guys misunderstand the Witch's Cult. When Asakeryu used light magic on their way towards Arcuntar, I said that only the shadow steeds were damaged. The Cultists, the Sins and the Witch are not darkness magic based.)

 

"I maybe know something that might help against Gluttony, that begin my toxic gas."
I turn to Asakeryu. "His weakness is his mouth, everyone needs to breath when they are eating. And breathing in toxic gas isn't to good for your lungs"

 

Necromancy. A complicated topic.

Necromancy is a very special magic. It is not shadow-magic-based. It is its own magic of raising the dead.

It is possible to use Dark, Light or Aether energy to connect the barriers between Life and Death, and very skilled ones can make holes in the connection to trap a soul in the empty space between Life and Death. But darkness is not what raises the dead.

(I think I mentioned the Witch's Cult Arc... I've got some more planned after this, if it even gets that far. The one after this is planned to be called "The Rise of the Dead Arc"...)

The demon turns from the Feldurim and starts towards the Tower again.

"It's going back to the tower!" Abro shouts.

More energy blasts are fired at the demon. One catches him square in the chest, and the demon screams. It slowly rises from the ground, staggering. His left arm drops to the ground. The demon's now empty left shoulder bursts into flames, as if stopping the wound from bleeding.

The demon reaches the bottom of the tower again. It starts punching the base repeatedly. The tower shakes violently.

 

"Worth a try, I guess. Exercise caution, we do not want to be eaten."
