Rathius:"I'm Rathius. I come in no harm. I'm trying to get this boy to safety."

Once Airin puts the fire away, they scan the campsite. A Feldurim has been killed: he was in the blast radius when the traitor used a crystal filled with explosive spell.

"No no no no..." Kaya murmurs as she rummages through the supplies. She looks up in horror. "He took one of the devices Lyndarl gave us to get into the barrier without breaking it."

"That means that he's heading towards the ruins to wake the monster!" Trianna cries.

"Maybe the girl was a distraction." Fen'ris mutters thoughtfully.

Luratos shakes his head. "There are only a few individuals in Talmnátia known to be able to hide their spiritual energy. They are otherwise known as the Sins of the Calamity Witch."

"So she was a Sin?" Mike asks.

Luratos shakes his head again. "Every Sin has a colour: Wrath is red, Pride is purple, Lust is indigo, Greed is yellow, Gluttony is orange, Envy is green, and Sloth is light blue. The girl was wearing black, and no other colour."

"No way." Wyrmin murmurs.

Luratos looks up, with an expression of fear none has ever seen in him before. "That girl... she is the Calamity Witch herself"

 

Who are the people that were travelling on the two carriages? Those who the Griffin is with

 

Fen'ris remains silent.
"So we just had a run-in with the Calamity Witch."
"Also this feels oddly familiar."

 

They direct their horses and carriages towards Arcuntar. A group of medics and soldiers on horses pass them as they head towards the fallen Oaken soldiers.

They come in front of the walls, which is at least twenty meters tall, built from white polished stone. Cannons and war machines are staitioned on the walls. The gate is another huge, black walls, which slides open by chains turned by machines. As the group travel through the gate, soldiers straighten their backs and solute to the princess. She slumps down on her horse, suddenly looking tired. She gives a loud sigh.

"Welcome to Arcuntar, the heart of Rehniar." Remilia says as she gives a small smile to the others.

The sun disappears under the horizon. A surge of energy suddenly rushed through you, and grinning, you swipe Xiudar's claws at the demon, killing him.

The Griffin sniffs. Excuse the intrusion.

Suddenly a consciousness touches Rathius's mind. Before he can react, it takes over his mind, and rushes through the memories like sweeping dead leaves to the side. Extreme headache strikes Rathius's head- he stumbles and falls.

The Griffin's mind pulls away. Return to your human form, dragon Rathius. The Griffin says. Ride on my back, and I will take you and the boy to the city.

I shoot a shadowblast at one of the others to distract him then I quickly dash in and slash at him.

 

*I turn back into human form and flames scorch the land around me*
Rathius:"Thank you, Griffin."

*I climb on the Griffin's back*
Rathius:"Could you please not tell anyone about my dragon form and keep this a secret?"

 

"This is problematic. What do you suggest we do?"

 

The lead demon growls. "Calm down!" He shouts. There is only one of him. Kill him!"

The demon lifts his hand, and in his hand glints a vial of fiery liquid. He throws it at the ground, and it explodes into fire that chases the shadow away.

Your request is noted. The Griffin rumbles. However, I must report to the King about this.

 

Rathius:"I understand, thank you. I need to recover from my wounds when we arrive at the city."
*I look at the 'bites' in my arm and leg*

"There is no time." Luratos says. "We have to go, now! Get ready to fight, everyone!"

He motions to Jenna. "Jenna, the newcomers are tired."

The angel nods. She runs up to Fen'ris and places a hand on his temple. Golden light flash, and Fen'ris steps back, his weariness gone. He hasn't closed his eyes but we're no longer tired: it is a strange feeling.

Jenna walks around to Wyrmin, Scar and Basil, giving them energy.

Fen'ris frowns. "You're an angel, and named Jenna. Do you happen to be..."

"Yes, the angel that fought with Nicolas Shade against The Eye. My body doesn't age because the angel that possessed me has powerful healing factors." Jenna says quickly.

"That's over 500 years ago!" Mike says.

"Don't judge monsters by age." Jenna murmurs."

"You can bind a Possessed?" Scar asks.

Luratos turns around. "Seriously! We have to move!" He looks at Fen'ris. "I don't care about what you feel about this job of yours; people are going to die. Use your powers for good for once, Vilphan!"

 

Am i supposed to say something to this?

 

Very well. The Griffin says. I will take you to the palace and you will be seen by the royal Doctors. Then you and the boy will have to see the King.

 

Rathius:"Understood."

 

You can say whatever you want, do whatever you want. For situations like this you aren't bound to what is happening in front of you, you can turn to others and ask questions etc. but sorry, I might've not been clear.

Kaya motions towards you and the other monsters. "Come on. Leave those two for now; you must get ready."

 

I suppose Ill change to my monster form cause its stronger.

 

The Griffin takes off. As it makes his way to the city, Rathius asks the Griffin, "What is your name?"

The monster does not answer for a moment. I am named Kludrin. He answers simply.
