[rp] Mortal 11/11

I nod. "Very well. I have no objections. The more people we have, the better our chances if we get ambushed. For now, we'll wait for the princess to come back. We can then depart. Until then, I guess we should get all the rest we can for the time being." I sit down, and begin thinking. "The best option depends on how fast Zeisha can get information. If she gives us enough information quickly, we can hold of Aurallim long enough to deal with them. Otherwise, we'd have to be a lot more strategic about this..."

 

"Oh well . Seems like they got the time to get the ash . I must have been uncounscious for quite long time ." I think out loud "Fancy stuff i got here ... Quite the upgrade for someone who wandered by foot huh? " I say as i think i was talking to someone , though i am alone "Eeeeeer .... Off to the blacksmith!"

 

I look at her and growl and then I try to flee again.

 

I stand upon the tower and spread my arms, whispering a demonic incantations...

The night suddenly seems... darker... the fires' light barely pierces the thickening blackness... it begins to grow cold... eerie, disembodied whispers echoing from everywhere at once, murmuring incomprehensible secrets... some of the goblins seem to feel cold... things... brush against them...

I slump in sudden exhaustion but maintain my concentration.

 

Wyrmin spurs his horse towards the town. "Hey!" Fen'ris shouts after the elf.

Wyrmin looks back. "I have to report this to Lord Lyndarl of Seminar." He says.

Basil looks at Fen'ris. "It should be fine; there are no living in the area."

The woman looks sideways at Mike as he and Mylith approach.

"Hello." Mike says. The woman blinks. "Guess we are on a same job; I'm Michael, a Delvolar."

The woman nods. "Hello, Michael. I am Trianna of the Amazons. Nice to meet you." She extends her hand. Mike shakes it.

"What are you doing here, lady Trianna?" Mylith asks.

"Oh, Mylith. It has been a long time." Trianna says, smiling faintly. "I have left the hunters, as you have, and now I am travelling the world as the Amazons' ambassador."

With a crash, Pride hits the ground, sending chunks of a wooden structure all over the place. Rathius roars in triumph.

The dragon starts to fly away, but he then sees purple energy coming out from the crater. Then suddenly, Pride is in the air. With incredible speed, the creature knocks into you. He doesn't hold his mace, but he uses his sharp talons to make a cut on Rathius's left forearm. He cries in pain.

The boy cries. Pride has grabbed the boy's collar and have pulled him out of Rathius's grip. The monster then lets go, dropping the boy.

Dark shapes wither through the goblin army, knocking some of them down, and screaming in an incomprehensible language. The goblins stop fighting and start to flee from the shapes, knocking over each other. A jolt runs through all of the goblins. They suddenly rights themselves, and starts attacking.

Vyrdiin falls to his knees. The illusions break away, as the goblins starts fighting again.

Uadlokii sees the goblins' reaction to Vyrdiin's illusion. Something was wrong. He was missing something.

The dwarves are fighting valiantly, but their numbers are decreasing, due to the sheer amount of the creatures.

This town is as good as taken.

 

Rathius(thinking): "NO!!"
Rathius: "ROAR!"
*Filled with anger I plant my 4 claws into Pride and with incredible speed I fly towards the ground, piercing his body when he hits the ground. I let go of Pride's body and fly towards the boy to catch him.*
(I just realised how I've been talking to them, despite being in dragon form :D)

 

"Cool, so whats your special power?"

 

"The distance to Arcuntar from here isn't long." Lucifer says. "We should arrive there at night, if we leave now."

"We're ready!" Remilia calls from across the room. Asakeryu looks at Lucifer and nods. The five of them starts to pack their things and follows Remilia out.

As they come out they see the Hellbirds' carriage and three horses at the entrance of the healing house. Soldiers give Remilia salutes as she thanks them. Remilia climbs onto the horse at the front, and Lucifer and Emily mount on the other two. The Hellbirds climb onto their carriage, with Debulan at the front, leading the horses. Asakeryu climbs onto the carriage and seats himself down. He looks at Max. "Aren't you coming on?"

Max shakes her head. "I'll be flying and scouting ahead."

Remilia turns and nods at Debulan. He pulls on his leash, and the horses start moving, pulling the carriage with them. Max jumps and lands on the carriage. She has turned into her monster form, and her red wings glitter in the sunlight.

They make their way to the gate. As they approach it, a group of soldiers on horses come towards them.

The leader greets Remilia. "Our forces will follow you, princess!" He says. "We shall protect you and your group until the way to Arcuntar."

 

"Wyrmin is our guide and the person who'll get us the job. We have no choice but to wait for him."

 

The boy hits the ground before Rathius reaches him. The dragon roars and lands where the boy has fallen.

He lowers his neck and brings his head closer to the boy. The boy groans and rolls his head sideways.

 

(Is Pride dead?)
Rathius(thinking):"No no no. Come on get up! I promised you to get you to safety."
*A tear drops from my cheek*
Rathius:"Sad Roar."

 

The Amazon smiles. "My special power? It's the same as other Amazons: nature magic. Though, I am able to use powerful magic using the energy extracted from Yggdrasil." She lifts her cloak up, showing her belt, which holds many glass phials, all containing clear, blue water. "The water from the Yggdrasil's river." Trianna explains.

"Hey, Trianna!" A girl calls behind Mike and Mylith. They turn back, seeing the three people who Mike remembers as those who had strong spiritual energy. As they come close, Mike realises that they are monsters.

The girl, who is short and has blond hair, raises her hand. Behind her is a tall, white-haired boy, and a dark haired girl with red runes written under her eyes. The short girl laughs and shakes Trianna's hand. "Long time no see, Amazon!" She says.

That is a different reaction from what I expected...

I mean the boy fell from like a hundred meters. It's amazing how he's still alive.
Plus you don't expect people to get up when they just fall from the sky... lol

 

"Uh hi"

 

Wyrmin turns back. "You better see this." He says, then leads his horse deeper into the village.

 

Oh... I thought he was dying slowly

So is Pride dead? And what about Gluttony, did he flee after he saw his friend die (if he did)?

 

You come to the blacksmith. It's a house, with a platform next to it, which has a roof and a chimney. A man is working there, swinging his hammer down on a lump of glowing red iron. A girl looks up from her chair as you approach.

"Hello!" She cries. "Welcome to our blacksmith. What do you need?"

 

Fen'ris chuckles, before following. "Now that's quite a cliché I've read in many a book."

 

The woman turns and kicks the staggering man in the chest. Ventus feels extreme pain in his chest, and he is forced to drop to the ground, panting. The poor man, who has been kicked, falls to the ground on his bottom. He coughs blood, but does not complain.

The short girl turns to see you. "Oh. Hi!" She says cheerfully. "I see that you're a monster. Who're you?"

The other girl with markings under her eyes nudges the short one. "You're being rude, Ilcia."

 

Rathius(thinking):"Wait, he's breathing? How is that even possible after falling from that hight?"

 

You don't know about Pride. He's not dead; but you don't know it yet. Gluttony is there, confronting a group of soldiers that came to him.

The boy doesn't wake up, however. Gluttony bellows, and swings his arm, catching two soldiers. They are sent tumbling back. They do not get up. Gluttony turns and spots Rathius. He bellows, and starts to charge at the dragon.
