With the vision blurry because of the attack , I shake my head in surprise . "well that was clearly unexpected. I wonder how will i beat her... They told us at the academy ... Think you project of soldier ! " I think while using the spear to get up . I get the tree branch with the other hand and hold it as another spear . "as thougher at my skin can be , i dont think i can handle to many of these attacks . I must keep distance till i remember the way to deal with her..." Hiding the nervousness , i shout "Here i go again , for real this time !" and run towards her hitting with the branch her forehead and stabbing her neck with my spear

"Not happening," I whisper. I shift back into human form quickly and grasp the handle of my sheathed sword, intending to sidestep the harpy and slash at her by drawing my blade (Yes, they attack off the draw with katanas)

Fen'ris grabs the weapons of the cowering soldiers and tosses them outside, and ties Larbi's arms up.
"We have to move, now." Fen'ris says, covering Larbi's face with a bag.

 

Name: Jack Daniels
Age/Gender: 17/male
Race: Human
Class: Possessed by the Spirit Demon Xiudar Zenebri. He uses shadow magic.
Affiliation:
Not really any affiliation. He would be with Aurallim, but you are gonna see why he isn't in the backstory. ;)

Personalities:
Jack:
Jack is a nice and friendly person, who is good with people and who is social. He likes to help people in trouble. All people. Monsters, humans and spirit demons alike. He doesn't like evil people though, but he believes that most people can change for the better. He is quite trusting. Sometimes too much. Sometimes Xiudar has to remind him that certain people can't be trusted.
Sometimes Jack can be a bit conflicted because of both what happened with him being possessed and also because he has Xiudar inside his head constantly. Therefore he can't always act as he'd like to or normally would. (One big and obvious [when you've read the backstory] thing, that has changed since, is how Jack treats monsters)
Jack has a temper.

Xiudar:
Xiudar isn't evil, but he might be a bit cruel and ruthless. He isn't a very nice and undrestanding person, but he tries to be. He is a bit selfish, but he wants to help people.
He is not the complete polar opposite but in some aspects he is the opposite of Jack.
Xiudar is mostly quite calm.

Description:
Jack has brown hair and brown eyes. He is rather ordinary looking. Deceptively agile and quick though.

Jack can turn his whole body or parts of it into the body of Xiudar. Xiudar's body is dark and shadowy.

It is actually fun how much what I imagined looked like Sir Meliodas. It was totally a coincidence ^^
The only difference is that Xiudar will fully envelop the chosen parts of Jacks body. Not like with Meliodas.

Xiudar has some claws on his hands. He is also a shapeshifter. He can transform shape, but nothing like colour and such. This means he can amongst other things do shit like this:

(I totally didn't just put these in because I think Meliodas is fucking badass in his demon form ;O)

He can jump really far and is incredibly fast. (He is strong but not a brute force guy. Some raw power is sacrificed for speed and agility.) He also doesn't make sounds when walking, running, or other things like that.
Xiudar's voice is dark, raspy and sounds like a he is whispering. It is a rather creepy voice and it will give most people the chills.
Xiudar's powerlevel will go up or down according to how dark it is. He is at his strongest in complete darkness, and will of course be weakest if someone uses some strong light based magic.
He is also of course weak to light-based attacks. It is his weakness. This won't really affect Jack in his normal form.

Backstory:
(Longer and unfinished version)
Jack was a normal teenager of Aurallim, brought up with the belief that monsters are evil abominations in this world and should all be exterminated. Since he was small, he always wanted to join the army to fight the monsters.

On his 15. birthday he got a sword and was to begin training with it. He was very excited. One day while traversing outside Cites Torin Jack heard something weird. It sounded like someone was hurt. Jack was about to rush in to help the person, but something about the sound made him stop. It didn't sound human. Jack clumsily drew his sword. He hadn't got much training, but if the monster is as hurt as it sounds it shouldn't be necessary. On the ground before him Jack found a dark shadowy creature. The monster tried to move away from Jack, but it was in too much pain. "Please..." the voice send shivers down Jacks body, but he managed to shakingly raise his sword. Jack took a deep breath and swung his sword down towards the creature. 'Thunk' The blade sunk into the dirt. "Did I...?" Jack wasn't sure, but was proud anyway.

As Jack walked back to Cites Torin, he waved at the guard just like he used to, but something was wrong. The guard turned around shouting: "Demon! Reinforcements!". Jack was confused and looked hectically behind him, but he couldn't see anything. Confused he looked back at the reinforcements that had come. They were armed. They began running in the direction of Jack. "What is it?" Jack shouted, but was shocked to hear his own voice for it wasn't his own voice. Jack was shocked. Then he discovered his hands. They were dark and shadowy. They had claws. "Run..." the voice echoed in Jacks head. "You! What have you done to me?!" Jack exclaimed. "Run." The voice echoed once again. So he did. Jack took off with an incredible speed. Faster than humanly possible.

Only when he found a cave did he allow himself to rest, but the running hadn't tired him. "Who and what are you and what have you done to me?!" "I am Xiudar and I am a spirit demons." Once again the voice send shivers down Jack's body. "I have fused our bodies together. We are now forever linked. Believe me. I like this no more than you do."

Together they lived for 2 years. It took some time, but eventually they accepted each other and their fate. Jack learns that monsters can be more than mere abominations and Xiudar learns that humans can show kindness even to monsters and demons.

Ok. Basically Jack is a normal Aurallim citizen who like all of the others hate monsters. He one day finds a hurt and weak Xiudar who bonds with him before Jack can strike him down. When he returns to Aurallim they of course want to kill him, so he flees.
Xiudar at this point is evil and Jack still hates monsters, but over time they get used to each other. Jack learns to accept monsters and Xiudar turns good('ish. Probably more antihero'ish).

Weapons of Choice:
Opacre (Right-hand) and Noxis (left-hand) the Nightbringers. Twin shortswords/daggers of darkness. These rather good-looking swords are sheathed crossed on the back. They carry a blue gem at the top of the hilt. Like when Xiudar lends his body and power to Jack these swords will turn dark and shadow'ish. The gems will turn Vantablack (Seriously. If you don't know what this is LOOK IT UP!! Vantablack is fucking cool. It is a material that absorbs up to 99.965% of light that hits it if i remember right.) and will actually seem like they absorb the light around them. (Just a few centimeters around.)
The swords can be turned into daggers, for a more stealthy and assassinationbased attack-strategy. The standard form of the Nightbringers are the swordforms though.


Secondary weapon: Shadow magic
This I am gonna skip over a bit fast. I am incredibly tired.
He can shoot shadowbolts from his hands, blend into shadows, teleport between shadows, see in COMPLETE darkness (No light at all. Fuck the science, ok?) Stuff like those things.
Also the effect of the swords sucking in the light around it can be amplified to completely black out the area. Sucking all light from the area. This takes up ALOT of energy, but because of the complete darkness Xiudar/Jack will be INCREDIBLY fast and also very strong. It is like a very strong adrenalin burst, but he will be REALLY drained when the effect wears off, which it does pretty quickly. For these reasons it is only used in desperate situations. They will fall over unconscius afterwards because of the huge enrgydrain.

Preferred starting point:
Not quite sure here. I'd like you to help me out with this @Amun_Ra. He fled from Aurallim so he is living near that. El Forlingur won't accept people like him and I don't really want to live with the dwarves. That leaves Palmen, but would they accept me there?

I actually rather like the idea of split personality like this. I think it is gonna be interesting ^^
Also. It is in the middle of the night at the time of me writing this, so expect some spelling mistakes and some weirdly worded sentences. I might look it through tommorrow.
I will rewrite a more complete version of the backstory and maybe also other stuff tommorrow. It is 3 in the night... Generally I will look through all of it again tommorrow.

Oh. And also I am known for making OP characters (especially one certain hemomancer ;P) so please tell me if there are parts of this character that needs nerfing. We can talk about it tommorrow when I wake up again ^^
