Damn, nice battle. I litterally just played it out in my head, while I read it. It looked baddass.

So... What do we do now?

 

Sorry guys. Been busy with RL stuff.

Battlefield
Thagila and Drandel, oblivious to Ragnok's death, is still sparring. Suddenly, a horn sounds, and riders came slashing down at the creatures of dark. The demons around Thagila and Drandel is slowly weakening. Jarzm, now engaged in battle with Salomnis, retreats.
"Ah!" Drandel swings her sword, but Thagila arches back, missing the tip of the blade. She jumps, spins and lands a kick on Drandel's chest. She falls back down.
Thagila is about swing her sword when Drandel raises her hand and white light flashes. Thagila is knocked back several metres back.
Now Drandel is on top of her. She raises her sword, but hesitates. Thagila sees the doubt in the Summoner's eyes.
Suddenly, a dark shadow hits Drandel, who falls off Thagila. Thagila stands up, and see Jarzm holding a little human girl. Drandel slowly gets up.
Jarzm has his wicked looking knife, to which he press the flat of the blade against the girl's skin. She screams.
Both Thagila and Drandel freeze. The girl only looks about seven, with ash and gravel in her hair. Her skin is full of cuts, which some of them are bleeding.
The human warriors around them stop fighting.
"Drop your weapons. Or I kill this miserable creature." Jarzm says, snarling.
Drandel reacts first. She slowly lower the sword and place it on the ground. The other warriors hesitantly lay their weapons down. The girl sobs.
Thagila's mind is full of confusion and old memories. She remembers herself as old as the girl was, wandering the streets of her hometown, crying because she have been kicked out from her family. Everybody rejected her. Nobody loved her.
Seeing the girl, all this memory and emotions swell up inside Thagila.
Jarzm smiles and raises his dagger. The girl screams.
"No!" Thagila shouts, and hurls her dagger at Jarzm. It hits the demon in the forehead. With a surprised look, he disintegrated into black powder. The girl falls forward, but is caught by Drandel. The Summoner looks up at Thagila. Thagila is shocked by what she have done, but somehow does not feel regretful.

Ronan and Bailwolf jump onto the clearing. They look at Drandel, then to Thagila.
"Attack her, Drandel?" Bailwolf says.
"No." Drandel says. She nods at Thagila, who pick up her dagger and sheath it. Then she bounds off outside the battle. Drandel watched her go.
"Let her go."

Inside Qira.

Golesdandt wakes up. He is confused by an absence of body.
His vision start to work again. He is seeing a battlefield through the eyes of a shadowy person. Then he realises what happened.
Qira, the Mistress of the Hive, had taken control of his body. Golesdandt was angry now, and now all he wanted was the Mistress to be gone, away from his body.

Golesdandt roars, and Qira stops fighting. Golesdandt fights with all his strength. Qira fights back mentally.

Mael, Vocthar, Nicolas and Salomnis walk up to the struggling figure that was once Golesdandt and Qira. Shadow and purple energy cracks around them.

Suddenly, Qira looks up. Her face is wild, and in a grumbling voice, says, "Kill her! Kill the Mistress!"
She shakes her head, then say in her own voice, "NO!"

The adventurers exchange looks. Then Mael fires a white bolt at Qira. "NOOOOO!" A scream echoes through the battlefield, then the presence explode. It creates a shockwave across the battlefield, at which contact all of the Elemental Squads crumble to dust. Nicolas conjures a shield to protect the Light army from the impact. Then it's over.

In a giant crater in middle of the battleground, stands up a humanoid figure. Golesdandt.
He looks at Nicolas, then to Mael, then to Salomnis, then to Vocthar. He grunts, half thanks, half aggressively.

Vocthar sighs. "Golesdandt, if you promise to leave the Light alone, you shall go and leave the battle. We shall leave you alone. Try to create a riot, and we WILL hunt you down." He says.

Golesdandt nods and grunts in approval. Then he strides out from the battle, too.

Aftermath

Mael walks around the battlefield, his head low. Too many had perished in this battle. Too many.
His thoughts wander back to Bob. He said he had a full life. Didn't Mael too? How did he deserve to live?
But he had a job to do. He would think about it after this was all done.

The remaining demons and monsters all fled to the Abandoned Mines. The adventurers pursued them until all monsters and demons fled into Dern.

Ronan looks at the others. "Should we go in there? It would be cool to explore there."
Vocthar replies, "What for?"
Ronan shook his head. "Just a thought."
Mael smiles. "Maybe next time, but it is not now."

Bailwolf charges a fireball and collapses the entire mine on top of the path.

What happened after the events of Legends?

Mael
Mael hung around the battleground for a long time, helping the lost souls find their ways to the spirit realm. He later contributed on rebuilding the fallen cities of Wynn, with his great magical abilities. He later found a settling place in the Jungle, where he was last spotted by his friends.
Rumour says that Mael found an apprentice and trained her. She later is said to become a great warrior.
Mael travelled back to the spirit world about four decades after the Great Battle.

Vocthar
Vocthar helped the new order set place in Wynn and Gavel. After, he traveled to the Katoa Ranch to visit his late parents. Then he travelled around the Wynn province, working hard to destroy monsters. He later travelled to Gavel and settled in Cinfras, where he was honoured as a legend.
It is told that Vocthar visited Golesdandt after the battle, and gave him a place to live.

Drandel
Drandel, after the battle, mainly helped Troms back to its former glory. She and her dragons did great works on the citadel, making the city twice as big and powerful as the old Troms. She was elected as the first Queen of Troms, for the old Troms King had no children, and considered Drandel his heir.
She travelled around the Wynn Province as a symbol of Light.

Ronan and Bailwolf
Ronan, after the battle, helped re-create the new sea city, Atlemdar. He was made the mayor of city, but he mainly spent his time in the outside world, adventuring the world. He and Bailwolf travelled into both Fruma and Gavel, where he trained as a great warrior.
Bailwolf spent time in Mage Islands to perfect his fire-magic powers, then he travelled to Gavel to the Dark Forest to form a peace between the monsters and townspeople of Gelibord. He later returned to Wynn.
Ronan and Bailwolf travelled around the world until the end of their years.
They were rumoured to have ventured into Dern.

Thagila
Thagila left the world and travelled to the Jungle, where she joined the Jungle Village anonymously and was accepted. She had her own family, and helped the Village flourish. She once visited Queen Drandel to thank the Queen for not killing her.

Salomnis
After helping the Province become stable again, he travelled through the Three Provinces to learn more about the Light. He especially liked Fruma, to which he travelled to with Nicolas, and settled at. Salomnis was told to be a great knight of Fruma.

What my new RP is going to be about.....

Strange things have been happening in the Four Provinces.

Children with great magical powers started popping up around the Provinces. They were called, mutants.

A new evil is rising from the darkness. Can the mutants come together and defeat this new evil? Or will they watch the world burn before their eyes?
