Elfs got big ears

 

The area around you is full of tightly packed stone houses, some of which have lights on, and a Dogun with an axe is chasing you. Running towards the scream, you see the little girl running away from the town, a Dogun waving a pike at her. You hear a shout from the bar - "Doguns! Shit!"

She beckons you over to the bed. "I just wanted to see you, really. And I felt like buying you those swords. I have a particular way of operating, get used to it."

 

"And why bribe the guy who sells robes?"

 

I'll assume I heard it then.

"Indeed you were. Shouldn't have expected anything from me..."

 

"That was in case you went to him first. I was planning to buy you those touroto leathers. Still can, if you like. Please do join me. I promise it won't be like last night."

 

Chase after the dogun

 

"Still go these robes for half the price, and I'm not sleeping with you"

 

As you chase after him the leader's voice shouts from behind him - "He's right fucking there! Get him!" The Dogun spins around and you almost crash into him. Fortunately a pike is not a good weapon in close quarters, but the others arrive. There's a drunken shout from the street and several dwarves burst into the street, shaking their fists and yelling at the Doguns.

She seems amused. "Was that deliberately ambiguous wording there? Or did you only mean the one interpretation of 'I won't sleep with you'?"
She sounds amused.

 

"I mean what I said"

 

"Dwarfs, these dogun tried to harm a child, help me to drive them out!" Retaliate to the pike person with that axe i picked up at the ruins

 

"Oh well. Good night, Glem."
She lays back on the bed and closes her eyes. The door is still locked.

The dwarves drunkenly charge at the Doguns. They're unarmed, but significantly outnumber the Doguns - it isn't clear who has the upper hand. One of the sword Doguns attacks the group, slashing one of them accross the chest. Your axe, however, makes its mark - you hit the Dogun acrossh the shoulder and he drops the pike. The girl continues running off, despite nobody attacking her. She's nearly out of sight.

 

Kick the pike away in the direction of a dwarf

 

I pretend to sleep on the floor waiting to see her reaction

 

I also tell the dwarf to pick the weapon up

 

It skids along the ash-covered cobbles and lands in front of a particularly drunk dwarf, who picks it up backwards and tries to stab at a Dogun with the blunt end.

No response. She stays motionless on the bed.

 

Good I start falling asleep

 

Run to that dogun and strike him. Tell the other dwarfs to take the pike from the drunk dwarf and use it right. Alsowatch my surroundings for that dogun i disarmed.

 

I sit up on the bed. "I don't blame you. Only me. I could have helped, maybe even stopped it."

 

"You tried. I didn't. There's a big difference between what we did..."
