As you run towards the scream, you hear the sevant's final cry as the acromantula venom almost instantly kills him. The person being attacked is @Tsuyu-chan , so we'll have to wait to say what's happening.

Silence. Your clairvoyance confirms that you are indeed alone.

"Yes, I guess I could.", he says angrily, casting a weak meteor directly at the door, knocking it off its hinges. "Now that that's settled, I think we better go to my office."

 

Alright. In the meanwhile I'll shake my head to take the screams off my mind.

 

"Impressive, but you are spirits or ghost I will have to assume."

 

They still remain silent.

Strangely, it still reveals nothing. Whoever those voices were, they must have left very quickly.

How much mana does it have?

 

It has a very large mana pool that's almost completely full, but acromantula only use their mana to produce venom, so that doesn't make much of a difference.

It retracts one of its legs in pain and stumbles backwards slightly, losing its grip.

You see an elf you think you recognise putting up a valiant effort at attacking an acromantula that's on top of her, but it's pretty clear she's not winning.

 

As the dwarves loosen their grip, I reach for my wand but think again. It would take too long to cast a meteor and even if I do, the damage it would cause would be extensive. I should try to make a break for it instead. You could escape quite easily if you bothered to learn any other spells I could imagine my professor saying.

While the dwarf's attention is turned to her companions, I lunge out to clock her in the face.

I run towards it, making an upwards slash on the spider leg that was holding the elf in place. If I succeed, pull the elf out of there and cut the fangs of the spider.

 

”Dogoj. But why duke close town? Town cannot go hunt. Town will starve. Dogoj will starve. Duke will starve. Life is not starving.”
I follow.

 

I stand up and say to him "Let's just get this over with"

 

She completely lets go - "Ooh, it fights back! How cute. Thinks it has a chance." One of the other dwarves lunges at you with his axe, misses and falls over.

The spider reels backwards and charges at you instead. You cut off one of its legs, but it lunges at you before you can cut off the fangs.

The spider charges forward, letting you escape. You see Hels Gahn out of the corner of your eye.

"Daddy says the Duke is a bad man. He does all sorts of horrible things. He kills babies and sells them. He puts potions in the water. Daddy always knows what's going on."

Visibly annoyed, you follow him out of the room, down the stairs and across the bridge to another tower. "You know, you could actually be a good student if you actually cooperated.", he says.

Although the academy allowed me to focus on meteor, I had still been forced to learn the basics of some other spells, teleport included, though it had not reached the point where it can interact with others. However, I hadn't practiced it in a while so...
oh well, it should suffice for now
I grab my wand and aim at the opening where the fallen dwarf had been
