He takes out a piece of parchment and starts taking down notes, and the door opposite opens. Inside, you see the Dogun, tied to a chair.
"So you got the robes back", she says.

 

''Yes i did, now why did you want to speak to me?''

 

"Until Doushoins doesn't need help anymore." I take in a deep breath, trying to feel any nature.
"Do you want to see the apothecary's collection or do something you like? I'm pretty sure they won't like us being there though." I smile at Rin

 

"Curiosity."
She leans in and whispers. "I escaped here from Rodoroc Prison. I was innocent. Thank you for... helping..."
She starts speaking louder.
"And that's what Elimut did in the bathrooms. Thought you might be interested."

 

"Why would I be interested in that?"

 

I nod my head.
"But why wouldn't they like us?"

 

"Villagers are a bit, uhm, fixated with money. I think they wouldn't like if we got in without buying anything." I scratch the back of my head.

 

She whispers again. "Rodoroc jail has been destroyed and Doguns occupy the Gate. War has never been so close."
She speaks louder. "Oh come on. You don't think it's amusing?"

 

''Sure it's an interesting story, but what does it have to do with me?''

 

"Alright, alright. I know your iffy about villagers and dwarfs. However, I am not associated with dwarfs. All I am is a simple adventurer, in seek of treasures. If you want to question me, I will, assuming you have time.

 

"You weren't planning on buying anything?"

 

I smile at the idea. "Nothing is as good as what the Forest gives."

 

"Hm."

"Should we find a place to stay for the night?"

 

"Sure." I look around for an love hotel inn.

How much money do I have and how much is an inn normally? @Hodsonius

About an emerald. Generally Cinfras is cheaper because of competition. (@BlueSlimerino got totally ripped off)

You can see two inns. One is centrally located, but seems very busy. Presumably a lot of people are staying in Cinfras for the summit. One looks very dodgy. It's at the back of an alley, and the windows are boarded up, but a sign shows it to have rooms free.

"Think I give a fuck? Having outsiders here is a liability. You may not be working for the dwarves now, but you aren't going to unsee anything. Go back."
He thrusts his sword forwards threateningly.

She whispers "If war breaks out in Molten Heights, you will be affected. Find a way to let people know. It must be discussed at the summit. Don't tell them who I am."
Laughing, she speaks again. "I thought you'd want to see another side of your hero. He's certainly not the dignified royal you know him as."

 

Do I have that money?

I turn to Rin and point at the less shady one. "How about that one? Unless you want to be discreet. Maybe the murderers could know about our relation to Doushoins and come after us..." I begin mumbling about possibilities.
