Oh, they take a while to come up with. Symbolism, potential foreshadowing, exploitation of your character's insecurities. Plus it's a lot of descriptions and not a lot of dialogue, so it comes less naturally.

You're in what looks like Rodoroc Prison, corridors are extended into a labyrinth and in every cell is housed a clone of Juntabi. The entire place is collapsing behind you. Bantira is at your side, repeating your thoughts back to you, making them feel so much more real and more terrifying:
"You're worried we're not going to make it."
"You don't think there's an exit."
"You're guilty about all of the Headmasters that are dying."
"You think I'm going to die."
"You think my death would be your fault. None of this would have happened if you never knocked on my door."
"You don't want me to die."
The collapsing ceiling gets closer and closer. The screams of a hundred headmasters echo through the rooms as you reach a version of the staircase. You rush up to it, but as you climb, it never ends. Bantira falls down it suddenly, and you run after her. The staircase above crushes you both simultaneously.

They just happen. It's sort of just a way to fill the time before your character wakes up, it's still late morning. And none of the characters are lucid dreamers.

 

”Good day to you, sir. My name is Dogoj, and I am a being known as a ”gert”. We gerts have lived our whole history as hunter-gatherer tribes unable to farm, and thus haven’t been able to complitely emulate villager language.”
”Me Dogoj. Fetching scrolls for sord with mage.”

"I see. Mage be criminal in Ahms. Mage have scroll. Mage bad. Why mage use?"

"Fascinating. You are from Olux, educated at Gylia, and are now seeking Elimut. Very ambitious - many have tried to find the brother of the King. Would you know anything about him we wouldn't? Do you have a plan?"

"I see. From whom? Few know Elimut at all, and even fewer were liked by him. I ask because he is under close watch during the summit. He has a lot to gain from an act of high treason and fratricide, and certainly has the capability and the nerve for it. We need all the information we can get."

”Mage special mage. Rescue island persons.”

You walk back to the crossroads. You notice a significantly diminished Dwarven presence - the gate seems to have been taken over completely by the Doguns. Turning to the staircase, you start climbing. When you're near the top, a Dogun stops you.
"We don't need villagers here. Go. This is our land now, not yours, and not your stupid little short friends."
He draws sword.
"I'm warning you. Torl's visiting. It's easier to turn back."
