Rp - Gavel's Darkest Hour- Act Two Begins [7/7]

I guess ill take a nap for a bit...

 

Looking at the robes you see that the ticket is indeed still in them but that half of your emeralds are gone. You put them on, somewhat surprised that there was no sign of Esmé during the whole ordeal. The crowds are starting to dissipate.

You haven't slept for about 30 yours by this point so you go over to one of the Dogun beds and lie down. As you're starting to drift off, Bantira comes over.
"I'm pretty tired myself actually. Mind if I join you?"

 

I'll live without the emeralds and just try to explore the town peacefully this time

 

"Wait, are you not that shopkeeper?"

 

”Dragon?”
I try and look around.

 

"hmmm, sure, no problem" I say as i groggily make room

 

"This is the same shop, is it not? I work alone here, in case you were wondering."

The dragon is still flying towards you. It's blue in colour and has crystalline looking scales. The mage takes out a piece of paper. "Cinfras scroll. We'll need to go to Rodoroc still - got to have dwarven ones, but this should help. Hold on to it, okay? I'll activate it."

You head to the east, towards the palace. You see an elf and an odd humanoid rabbit talking to each other.
"What's happened? She should be here by now?", the elf says.

She crawls in next to you and the two of you fall asleep together.

"Would you know any dogun who knows more about lesser tressure?"

 

Well they shouldn't be able to spot me thanks to my robes so I try to listen in on them

 

I accept his help in getting up.
"Hold on."
Grabbing his plate, I go to return them first before returning.
"Let's go."

 

What?

"Alright." I check my equipment to see if everything is in place before heading towards our destination.

 

Ugh. English grammer. .-.
I took the plates, returned them, and then returned back to you.

I follow.

 

"I know plenty about treasures, great and small. There are plenty of curiosities unearthed in the Dwarven mines, treasures left by the Dragons, Dogun artefacts and the mysteries of the Surface. What I can't help with is Ozoth."

You sneak up behind them and eavesdrop. The rabbit speaks next.
"I left just after her. Best carriage and robes. And nowhere to be found."
"Perhaps she decided not to come? There are an awful lot of people who might use this as an opportunity to assassinate her."
"And the alternative? Have our land handed to Elimut and the Crown? She has to come."
"And what makes you think that's not what she wants? Ever since she was elected... there's something not quite right about her."

 

Not really the grammar, but more how you repeated the same word. Makes it seem a little disorientating

 

I continue to eavesdrop

 

The two of you head towards Cinfras, trying to intercept Doushoins where she would have reached on foot. As you approach you see a small crowd movine along the road, buzzing with chatter.
"Miss Doushoins!", you hear one of them shout.

 

Ugh, English ... wording? .-.
Actually, probably my incompetence. xD

I look through the crowd, tryung to spot her.

 

If there are any trees nearby, I'll try to climb them to spot Doushoins, handing the robes over to Rin.
If not, just try to jump and wave an empty arm at her and yell to get her attention.

 

"Look, we all know the High Delegate is in a tough position-"
"And what of Togak?"
"What of him?"
"Surely if he truly cared for our Coalition, Doushoins would want to oversee the distribution of his lands."
"What makes you think he's giving them up?"
"We all know he can't hold onto them without conflict, and if there's anything Togak doesn't want, it's conflict."

 

Yeah I'll be listening in on them for a while
