Rp - Gavel's Darkest Hour- Act Two Begins [7/7]

I go down to the bar. I also ask the bartender what the noise is outside since you couldn't hear.

 

The road goes over two more bridges and turns, starting to skirt the edge of the Great Forest. As you walk past a particularly dense patch of trees, a ghost comes screeching out of the Forest. A dull white, the size of a hobbit and looking halfway between steam and smoke, it glides aggressively towards you.

You unbolt the door and head down the stairs. As you arrive behind the counter you notice the bartender sweeping the floor around the tables. "Good morning," she says. "You're up early. Oh - the messenger. He said the dragon's making a nest near Thanos, and that Torl sent our army to the Gate - the dwarves abandoned it."

 

"Which dragon?"

 

I ready my swords

 

*sigh*
I slash at his legs

 

I press closer against him.
"Give me a bit..." I say groggily.
How much mana is he at?

 

Lay the hand there.
"Alright."

 

"If there are two dragons in Bantisu that's news to me. Pretty sure it's the same one you encountered. Bit of good news though. We control the gate now, Thanos is at our mercy."

He shrieks as you slash through his legs, crumpling to the ground at your feet and throwing his hands up. Below you hear the clash of swords and what sounds suspiciously like a meteor. The alarm bell suddenly rings in a rapidly repeating tremolo.

It glides straight at you, knocking you off your feet and filling your head with a strange, deathly ringing.

Mostly but not completely full. Transferring him to full would require minimal mana.

 

Sure. I'm transfer more mana to him.
Afterwards I move his hand off of me and sit up. I quickly smooth my hair.
"How long have you've been awake?"

 

I try to ignore it and go it for a slash from both my swords

 

Do I feel it when she transfers energy or is it something I don't realize happens?

I take in the morning air, sitting up.
"Just woke up."

 

I nod at that.
I bow my head a little.
"I hope you didn't mind..."

 

I rub my eye and give a small smile.
"It's fine."

 

Is that the Headmaster?
*sigh*
"Lucky you, I don't have time to kill you painfully"
I stab him in the heart and head back down while dragging his body behind me
"Bantira? Headmaster? Are you guys ok? We gotta get outta here!"

 

I yawn.
"Are they finally openning the gates?"
Discretely check for my ring.

 

You sit up and slash the ghost with the swords. They pass effortlessly through it, carrying wisps of smoke with them. It glides straight into your face again and the ringing gets louder, and within it you start to hear words. "I was killed by Hels Gahn."

You feel her heartbeat and an odd bond between the two of you. You're not aware of what exactly happened.

 

I get up to look at the gates.
"I hope so. At least we will get in soon, I hope."

"You're dead I know" I continue slashing

 

The bond breaks, right? >.>

I nod and hold out a hand towards you.
I'm still sitting on the ground btw.

 

You see Bantira standing alone at the end of one of the corridors, the bodies of two guards in the others. She's fighting the third guard with her right hand and struggling with the keys in the other.
"Get back, you idiot!", Juntabi's voice shouts from the corridor.
"No, it's okay, I've got this. This one." Bantira sounds panicky.
