"Therefore, an attack to get rid of the heads of some areas, so another person could overtake and start a new 'Golden Age'?" Ask, playing with a sunflower seed nervously.

You go in the opposite direction, to the King's bedroom. The maid is still lying peacefully on the floor. You consider how to carry her. The easiest way would be to drag her along the floor, but you could also try carrying her in your arms or over your shoulder, which would be safer for her and you but harder work. And you could also try using magic - a wind prison could work, or you could try pull spells (you know the theory but haven't mastered them - it was too mundane for you)
You run towards the staircase cave, stopping behind a rocky outcropping. Ozoth casts a vast shadow over the top of the staircase, where the Dogun mage is standing over the Eye, a dwarf lying on his front at the Dogun's feet. The crowds are gone, presumably farther down the staircase.
(was the sunflower seed a deliberate invocation of the symbol of the Sol Embassy? Sunflowers are kind of important to valley elves)
Elimut strokes his beard, thoughtful. "More an attempt to scare us. An empty threat. Bantisuism, especially the more extreme views, has been on the decline since the start of the Cataclysms. They know they can't win. But if they are not stopped soon, it will be a far bloodier victory than any of us would prefer."

I may need mana later on so I better save some, and dragging might make noise, si carrying her is the best option

You haul her over your shoulder and carry her into the library. She's very thin, possibly malnourished, so it's not very difficult, but you still don't like the thought of carrying her all the way to the dungeon. As you close the library door behind you, Esmé comes towards you.
"Good, she looks suitable. Just need to leave Halster a bit more time before we leave. You thinking of taking any books, while we're here? There's stuff here that must be the only copy in existence - Remikas didn't want anyone finding it."
Tranki, Abbot of Bantisu, is staring at the feather with an expression of grim recognition. He has the right to speak, but is choosing not to. The other monks behind him look confused and insulted. The Sol Embassy elves are as calm and unreadable as ever, the Gylia teachers look doubtful and the Delegates are clearly in disagreement with each other.
Going round the back of Ozoth's legs, you realise how terrifying the talons are, each giant curved swords attached to a finger the size of a villager - each is the equivalent of a close-range siege weapon. You try not to think about that as you cling to the wall of the cave. The Dogun mage seems to be talking to Ozoth, but she quickly looks around at you, her head too large too be comfortable in such a cave.
"And where do you think you're going, my Villager?", she roars, echoes rebounding down the stairs.

@WynnChairman - As you're formulating your reply, Ozoth turns her head away. Looking round, you see the villager you met earlier, who supposedly had a deal with her. "And where do you think you're going, my Villager?", she roars, echoes rebounding down the stairs.

The Region or the religion? About the religion, you know very little - it was never taught to Valley Elves as Togak regarded as foolish superstition. What you do know is that until the Cataclysms most of the Villager population believed in it, it's an atheistic religion, they have a concept of a heaven in the clouds and place sacred significance to wind and birds. People are rapidly losing faith as the idea that something like this could happen is against fundamental Bantisu principles that the world is eternal, constant and stable. Tranki has since tried to reform the religion, to mixed results.

Of the region, you know it's a sparsely populated area of mountains of valleys that separates Ahms and the Molten Heights from the rest of Gavel. The capital is Templemount, the head of state is the Abbot of Templemount, now Tranki, and it's theoretically a Bantisuist theocracy, although there's not much central power. Magical creatures of all kinds roam undisturbed, notably a vast colony of magical spiders near the Gylia border. Parts of it are under Dwarven control, with authorisation from the previous Abbott after the founding of Thanos. The mountains there have started to slowly move since the cataclysms, making it even easier to get lost there - it's one of the most mysterious and unexplored parts of Gavel.

"Ancient spells, forgotten history, original manuscripts - a lot of old Elven scrolls that look like they could be useful to a mage, though you'd have to learn to read it."

    No. Esmé does though.
The villager population is about 30% monks. They rarely leave the Region - this summit is the first time you've seen any of them. They have a reputation as serene devotees of the wind, perfectly friendly if odd people. The rest are a mixture of hunters, shepherds, recluses and bandits - the roads that run between the Heights, Ahms and the rest of the Province are notably dangerous for merchants.

They would have no reason to attack I don't think. Which means someone's trying to set them up or shift blame. :T
Do I know their relations with other groups?

Remember the Elimut was talking about religious extremists outside of the Region of Bantisu's control, and specifically said he thought it was actually somebody from Gylia. He was talking about the religion, not the region.
The region is peaceful with everyone, and seeks only the protection of the holy lands of the Canyon, though that doesn't mean everyone is peaceful with them. They're most friendly with Ahms, since the Fracture Templemount has sent out monks to rescue any Ahmsian refugees that are trying to escape to the other Villager regions, although they manage to save very few. Relations with Rodoroc have always been strained. Thanos was initially founded on Bantisu land without their consent, and they sort of let it happen because they couldn't stop it and didn't want to start a war. More recently, Dwarves are suspected of killing the moderating Bantisu guards from the Heights Gate, taking full control for themselves. Gylia has land claims over the nest of magical spiders in the North, which was supposed to be settled at this summit.
She points you towards a shelf, and you look along the row of ancient books-
    -Magicks Moste Potente of Ice
-The Spelles of a Toxick Nature
    -Advancede Magickal Trans Portation
-An Barde's Guide to Musickal Magicks
-Potion Makeing with thine Owne Mana
