I reach over and straighten your clothes before quickly fixing your hair.
I look over you again.
"It'll do."
"Put your swords away for now."
"We don't want to give them another reason to capture us."

 

Lower them, but don't put on the sheath. "The innkeeper that's helping us is in grave danger. We can't leave him like that!"
If there's anything on the table, look at that. "But we could cause a distraction..."

 

You have 1 sword or two swords? I'm assuming two because of "swords" but just incase. >.>

 

You walk the rest of the way across the roof towards her, your foot almost slipping off the roof at one point. As you reach the end, you struggle over onto the higher rooftop. Esmé grabs you hand and pulls, though she makes little difference - hobbits are not known for their strength. You slide down the roof to the other side, which has a much smaller drop into a courtyard. She takes your hand and takes you into the tower opposite through a window. Racing up the spiral staircase in the centre, she takes you onto another rooftop through a window, of a section built on the mountain side.
"Phew," she says. "We had about a fifteen second window with no guards there. Didn't know if we'd make it."

She releases you, and about twenty people emerge from various hiding spots in the vicinity. They include roughly equal numbers of Dwarves and Doguns, as well as an elf and two villagers.
"We are the Brotherhood of the Heights," your captor says. "Our goal is to prevent war here, at all costs. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them now."

" What are you thinking?"
I look through the floor towards where I heard the voices. What does the mana show?

She nods, and takes off her armour and helmet along with her sword in its sheath and sandals, and stands there in just her deep red tunic. "That's all my equipment. I'll see about the ambush... uh, unless you think you'll need the tunic?"

The guards have wands - you can see the wood mana signature, and there are indeed four of them, all on full mana. There's nobody there but them and the innkeeper.

"That'd be wonderful. If they ask, I'm not up yet, okay?"

 

Why do that when I already know the future?
It says that we'll be happy together. <3

You leave the room and go downstairs. There's a cheer from many of the Doguns there, and the innkeeper smiles at you as you approach. "Where's our other hero?", he says.

Do they just help with spell casting?
Do they have anything special other than being a club? xD

She reaches the window remarkably quickly, striking a few poses at you while she waits for you to catch up.

Yes they do. Technically any weapon can be used for any spell, but a wand helps enormously, which is why they're the preferred, but not exclusive, weapon of mages.

You hear the argument continue.
"You're going to have to tell your boss they were gone."
"But they're not."
"You'll have to tell him they were."
"I'm not lying to Elimut, that'd be suicide. Last warning, don't make this difficult or we'll be forced to kill you."
