[rp] Everyone's John (5/5 Players)

"By golly, dear John, are you worried about... medical bills? Like a wretched commoner? I had the most wonderful contact with one of those medical types, and the fellow was adamant that medicine does indeed not kill you. Rather the opposite, dear friend. Why, without that opium medicine you took, I would not be alive here in any manner! And I do postulate that we all know how terribly lost you would be, fine sir, without me."

 

"Alright John, you're good for now. If you go to the nearest museum, no one will try to kill you."

 

I'd like to show you these interesting rules ^^ :

"Yeah. Makes sense. No one in the museum would have any reason to kill me. There's one a few blocks away I think."
John begins walking down the street Stoll wearing his patient clothing. He's receiving some puzzled looks. Then a man walks up to him.
"Sir, are you all right?"

 

"Tell him that you're fine and that one of your friends is giving you a dare to walk around in patient's clothing."

 

John tells the man: "Look, it's just some stupid dare by one of my friends to walk around in patients clothing."
"Tell your friend that it is a bad dare." the man answers and as he walks away he mutters: "Where'd he get the clothing anyway..."

As John walks on, he asks you: "Why'd you make me lie to that guy? I don't like lying."

 

"Think about it John. You're not lying. You're just bending the truth slightly. For example, your 'friends', the doctors, 'dared' you to put on patients clothing, and also had no problem with you walking around indoors. Anyways, just get to the museum before anyone tries to hurt you again."

 

John nods "Yeah. Yeah that sort of makes sense. Not lying, just bending the truth a little."
After a few minutes of walking John arrives at the museum. It seems like a airplane museum.

 

This is actually really interesting. Are there any inactive players I can replace?

 

That's really hard to say with this specific RP. There might be one, but I'm not sure.

Yeah watching the thread is a good idea, but I will tag you whenever it's time for something important.

 

I'm starting to think that Everyone's John might not work in a forum format :/

 

You need everybody to be active, that's hard

 

No I don't. I need one specific person to be active or it stops for everyone.

 

Yes, but when his turn will end, everybody need to bait, so everybody need to be active because we need to be careful at when the bet start :p Even if you notify us we need to follow the story. ^^

 

(OOC) - Maybe we could agree that when the person in control of John is inactive for a certain amount of time, we bid for control again? Seems like a way to keep the story moving, @SansWolf.

 

That sounds like it would be necessary though it would break the game slightly for the person who's inactive :/

True enough, but the game won't pause or completely stop if you're inactive. It doesn't have an impact. It is true that you have to watch out for betting for control though as that could have an impact on you, and you only.

Everyone else could easily only be on the forum every second day and they could still follow the story just fine. You don't need to be "active" to follow the story.

I am not dead. I moved in at my school Sunday and she been pretty busy since. It is an afterschool. Not sure that is the English word for it, but it is the word-for-word translation of the Danish word. Sorry I'm too tired to look up what it is called right now. From today and until Thursday I will be pretty busy mostly all day, so don't expect this RP to continue until after Thursday. The deadline for Rawb is gonna be thursday-friday-ish. If he hasn't replied then I will issue another bid for control.

 

Okke
