Technically no, because the word "infinity" means limitless or endless size, which means you, in theory, are not able to perform any operation on it. Infinity is more of a concept more than a set number. Technically, since infinity is the largest number possible, and because a "largest possible number" is impossible because if you considered x the largest number, there is always x+1(although there probably is a limit to how much countable mass exists in the universe, we're talking theory here) the concept of "infinity" is a number, which when operated on in any way, including square root, cube root, division, multiplication, addition, subtraction, remains itself. Therefore, 48 is not equal to ∞+(√4)^2+2 as the answer to that equation would be infinity. Also, the definition of "all" is different from "everything" as everything removes the individuality of the things being counted. Furthermore, If calculated while presuming that "infinity" is a variable, 48=X+(√4)^2+2, in which X=42. 42≠∞. Therefore, the equation that you stated is incorrect.

Keep in mind I do not have a PhD in Mathematics, so take this with a grain of salt, well, maybe more than that.

I peeked out the window, as I usually do at 2am. Its spitting with rain, my favourite kind of weather. It is relaxing. I hear a small creeking coming through the door. I turn around, expecting to see my mother.

HE CHARGES IN AT ME. A man, late 60s, FULLY NUDE with the numbers "48" tattoo'd ON HIS CROTCH. I didn't know what was more terrifying, the fact he wielded a MACHETTE or that this man had genuine ink on a place where the sun doesnt shine. I jump out the window, and rethink my life choices.

A short story about you and the number 48: I was born, I am still alive (I tried to do it as short as possible) Number 48 is 6 digits higher then the number 42 and if you divide 42 into halves, you'll get 21, which if you add to the number 48, you'll get 69, which is nice.
