    Self-explanatory, I think creepers should be completely removed from Wynncraft, both in lore and gameplay due to the fact that they are vanilla Minecraft mobs.

    You're probably gonna say, "But villagers are also Minecraft mobs", and I agree. I personally think the concept of villagers in lore should be at least partially reworked to look somewhat different and have a different name; something like Gavellians or Gavelfolk given their lore stating that they originate from Gavel.
    Either way, Villagers are deeply essential to the lore of Wynncraft. They could not be removed, they could only be reworked or even renamed. But I will probably make a separate thread on that later.
    Creepers on the other hand have absolutely no impact on the greater lore of Wynncraft, so absolutely nothing of value would be lost by removing them.

    Creepers as a concept are completely unchanged from vanilla Minecraft, and this is extremely jarring because almost all of the older lore in Wynncraft has been changed to make it as different from Minecraft as possible. It's why the Nether is now called the Realm of War. It's why iron golems were changed into guard golems, and several mobs such as zombies and skeletons have completely different textures than their vanilla versions.
    But creepers to my understanding are the exact same as vanilla. They are still named "creepers", they still use the vanilla creeper textures, and they still behave in the exact same way in both lore and gameplay, being hostile mobs that run at you and explode.

    I believe that all lore in Wynncraft that borrows too much from Minecraft should be reworked so the game can truly stand on its own feet as its own experience, and unlike zombies, skeletons, spiders, and even villagers and golems, creepers are not a generic fantasy archetype found in any other game; they are completely original to Minecraft so they cannot simply be reworked into something else to fit Wynncraft lore as they would still be borrowing directly from an idea that is invented by Minecraft. The only real solution is the most simple one: remove creepers from the lore entirely.

    Here's a list of creeper-related content that would need to be removed:

    • The lore for Garroth's Hope needs to be changed since it mentions creepers, which does not make any sense because the new Timelost Sanctum does not feature creepers in any way and Garroth himself is an entirely different character now.

    • Creeper Infiltration. Removing the quest would mean making its associated items unobtainable, the Creeper Mask, Creeper Powder, and Creeper Skin. It would also mean that the Temple of the Legends quest would need to be changed to remove any steps related to Creeper Infiltration.

    • The Creepers in the Realm of Light should be replaced with something that fits better with the location. And frankly, why are creepers even in the Realm of Light? It makes no sense whatsoever.

    • The Toxic Creeper would need to be replaced since it is still technically based on creepers.

    • The Creeper Disguise does exist, but honestly it isn't necessary to remove as I'm pretty sure all cosmetics are 100% non-canonical and either way, there are many more vanilla-inspired cosmetics in the game that for the same reason do not need to be changed or removed.
    Overall, I would love for Wynncraft to differentiate itself from Minecraft as much as it possibly can as it would solidify the game as its own unique experience. Thoughts?

    Not true. It's also used to get the other masks that the mask merchant sells. I know that many people, including myself, have used said masks in our playthroughs.

    Pretty sure they are meant to be Light creatures there and not (canon) creepers, in which case they are completely fine.

    Imo they could probably use a rework, but removing them for the sake of distinguishing is not necessary.

    Pigman Ravines creepers -> changed to be something unrelated to creepers. cryptids that are feared but generally agreed to not exist but turn out to exist and be really scared of people. basically just the plot of creeper infiltration but with some other monster.
    Realm of Light creepers -> given a unique name, but charged creeper model can stay if its something plant themed, which is likely.
    Toxic Creeper -> something like [yucky adjective] Hexapod (as the model has 6 legs)
