Reincarnation Overhaul

This is less of a suggestion and more of a compilation of ideas on how to make Reincarnation more up to date and interesting. I had this idea while making my previous suggestion, which was to improve Baab and Mooington. It would be nice if Reincarnation was not just: Fight a boss that is 40 levels above you and either perish or bring your level 105 friend to help. I would like to see a longer reincarnation. Not a fetch quest of sorts with a boss at the end like TotL, but more of a multi-boss adventure.

Requirements: Completion of Cluck Cluck, completion of Bob's lost soul, Completion of Ice Nations
(If you have not finished all of these quests, Batelu will turn you away)

Talk to Batelu and his crew inside of Bob's tomb
Batelu: Hello adventurer! Are you here to solve the mystery of Bob's tomb?
Batelu: Well you're in luck, because so are we!
Batelu: We have been studying the markings on these walls..
Batelu: They are about Bob. Hopefully you do not believe the stories of his death, right? Bob couldn't have died so easily. Not to something so mundane as a wolf.
Batelu: He wasn't only strong, he was absolutely un-killable, a master in almost every skill.
Batelu: I believe he knew he was about to die. How? What of? Nobody knows, but he left this world prepared.
Batelu: You see, it says here Bob had three loyal animals. Before dying, he scattered them across the ocean.
Batelu: It also states that the key to opening this seal rests within them.
Batelu: I would like you to track down the locations of these animals. I, for one, know that his chicken is on rooster island. An odd fellow named Nohno lives the-
Batelu: What's this? You've been there and have defeated Cluckles? Oh, great! Bring me whatever he left as he died!

Bring Cluckles' favourite feather to Batelu

Batelu: Great! Let me try weakening the seal.

Batelu grabs the feather and mutters something in wynnic in front of the seal. Hissing can be heard and the particles decrease. A custcene suddenly plays out where you see the Eye for a split second. You then find yourself back with Batelu.

Batelu: Like I thought. It seems we need whatever the other animals carry. Talk to my crew for detail.
Batelu: If you want help tracking the sheep, talk to Betty
Batelu: And if you want to go for the cow, talk to Bill.

When you talk to betty:

Betty: Hello. I'm Batelu's assistant, Betty.
Betty: I have figured out the location of the sheep you seek.
Betty: You see, this one time I went to Maro Peaks, there were these sheep weirdos who said they worshipped Baab and then tried to kill me.
Betty: Baab is the name of Bob's sheep. He must be there. I task you with finding him.

Travel to Maro Peaks and locate Baab's cave.

Sheepriest: Who are you and what are you doing here?
Sheepriest: We Baab followers look down on foolish Bovemists like you.
Sheepriest: Baab is our only true lord and saviour. I can tell from my psychic powers that you plan on killing him.
Sheepriest: I will not allow you to do that.

Battle sheepriest

You are teleported into a cave with an arena. Many Baab followers are watching. They jump out during the fight to help Sheepriest

Sheepriest: Noooooo...
Sheepriest: Y-you may have defeated me, but Baab will avenge me..
Sheepriest: I was the one who took him into care when he came. I was the one who discovered his power..
???: BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

A portal opens before you. You are shoved in by a Baab follower behind you.

Battle Baab

Return to Betty with Baab's wool

Betty: You did it? Great!

Betty takes the wool and stands before the seal. She mutters something in wynnic and the seal is weakened once more. It will break if Billy has been completed prior to her. You once again see the eye. If you are doing this or Billy first, the eye will be shown blinking, and the you will find yourself back in bob's tomb. If you have done one of the subquests already, the Eye will say in ancient wynnic: I sense the power of a hero as strong as He who sealed me away. You will then find yourself in the tomb once more.

Betty (if you did her part first): Great! Now talk to Billy and get that cow!

Betty (if you did her part after Billy): Alright, i have broken the seal. Talk to Batelu, he will guide you on what to do next.

Spoiler: Billy's subquest

Billy: So you have come wondering about Mooington?
Billy: The markings on these walls state that Mooington is in an island fortress. There is a large stronghold on Skien island, so I would start there.

Search Skien island for Mooington

There appears to be some sort of puzzle here...

Complete the puzzle and talk to the collapsed guard

Guard: An intruder?
Guard: What do I care? I have guarded this room for ages and its power is finally reaching new levels..
Guard: You can enter the room behind me if you want... I advise you not to, but you can try...

The guard slumps down on the floor. He is dead. You notice a burn mark on his back that has bored into the back of his chest. His heart has been destroyed by some kind of laser...

???: MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Defeat Mooington

Return to Billy with Mooington's leather

Billy: He was there? Great!
Billy: I feel bad for having to murder Bob's pets, but they knew it was coming. Surely.

Billy takes Mooington's leather and mutters something in wynnic. The seal is weakened yet again. If betty has been completed prior to this, the seal will break. You once again see the eye. Billy: I hear the reason for Mooington's power is because of him being a cow. Rumor has it that our God is a cow by the name of Sugared or something. Was it Peppered? No.. wait.. No it wasn't Peppered.. That guy is evil..
Billy (if this is the first subquest you do): It doesn't matter. Talk to Betty. Take down that sheep.
Billy (if you have completed Betty prior to this): it doesn't matter. Talk to Batelu. he will guide you from here.

Batelu: The seal has been broken. Thanks for your help. We believe that Bob himself is on the other side of this seal
Batelu: We would fight him with you, but we did not defeat the animals. Only you can challenge him.
Batelu: We know not much about his power levels, but these wall markings describe him as increbibly powerful.
Batelu: I reccomend that you take a friend to this fight. It won't be easy.

Defeat Bob
Bob: I am Bob, master of the arts of Wynn.
Bob: Let me explain why you are here.
Bob: My animals, were my greatest allies in my travels through the world.
Bob: I travelled too far, mined too deep, and of course challenged what should not be challenged. My time in Wynn was coming to an end.
Bob: I knew so, too. But I refused to leave without giving the power i had attained to those worthy of it.
Bob: Using what ability I had left to me, I transferred my power to my animals, in three pieces. In the hope that those worthy to harness it will seek them out.
Bob: The spell I placed on the door to this realm will only break to the one who collects my power. But it cannot have escaped your notice, you do not have my power.
Bob: The truth is, you must pass a test, the ultimate test. Hone your skills you have learnt throughout your travels, and face me. Face me, and earn your place amongst soldiers of Wynn.

Bring Bob's seal of approval to Batelu

Batelu: Hello. can you help me? I just sent somebody into there to fight and they're probably dea-
Batelu: Wait. It's you?
Batelu: You won!?
Batelu: Is that a Bob's seal of approval? Somebody in the temple of the legends told me that I should give this corrupted artifact to anybody who shows me it. You deserve this.
Batelu: Good luck on your travels, hero. Take that to the temple of the legends and you can get a weapon forged by Bob himself.

Are the subquests actually quests stages? Or they can be completed just by bringing the items?

 

I thought you got the corrupted treasure during ToL, for defeating CoW ? Then , again I may be wrong

 

You gain access to the Bob's Weapon Merchant for doing ToL, but you get the actual treasure itself from Reincarnation.

 

They are quest stages. The 2 bosses are level 80 in this version, so you don't want anybody venturing into death while they explore Maro peaks and Skien island

 

Then I think it might be impossible to do it so you can do whatever you want first.

You idea isn't bad, but I like the current one, where you can get the items before on other class and just go.

Yes but you can still collect the ingredients in any order, and when you do there is quest dialogue of sorts

 

So in your suggestion you don't have to go to the islands if you have the items?

 

Just so it works, it could use the same items from the old version of the quest, and after beating the bosses you can get the items again. If you show the items to their respective searchers they will destroy the seal even if you have not done their subquests. Their subquests only become available during the main quest.
