Info Regarding The Recent Increase In Rule Enforcement

You may have noticed that we began to enforce the rules more vehemently than before on the Discord server, with partial emphasis on the rules 1, 2 and 6, which are Stay on topic, Useless messages and No inappropriate links, images, or language, respectively.

While it is true that the rules in general were under-enforced, we like to point out that up until now, the server was a partial hotbed for... let's just say unsavory conversation topics - partly due to us not being able to look into the server as much. As such, while not ruthless, we will begin enforcing the rules in the Discord server more so than before, to help the community have healthy discussion and to increase the quality of life in the server for those who actively participate. Not to worry, you can still debate on whether you can relate to a character or not - just don't go to inappropriate content territory.

In particular, we would like to bring your attention to these three rules, even though we will enforce all rules equally:

• Rule 1 - Stay on topic: We will enforce this rule more so than before, but not to the level of being inquisitive about it. Keep things on the topic - for example, on #wynncraft you are expected to talk about Wynncraft in general, with specialized topics going to other channels such as #trade_market or #looking_for_group. This also applies to everybody's favorite channel: #guild_politics, which has unfortunately strayed far from its purpose and became a meme cesspool.
• Rule 2 - Useless messages: If it does not contribute to the discussion at hand (pointless spam, trolling), then it probably shouldn't be posted in the first place. The only exception channels for this rule are #memes (be reasonable with the memes you post - see Rule 6) and #vip_room.
• Rule 6 - No inappropriate links, images, or language: This rule will be enforced a lot. As staff, we will not tolerate posting anything that is inappropriate, be it messages, pictures or even memes - this server is PG13, and we would rather have it stay that way.

Ultimately, we want the Discord server to become a community for those who want to have a friendly chat, look for groups and trades, and generally have a good time without being disrupted by bad actors.
