World Rebuild The Wynn Towns V2 Clickbait

so yeah, if you look at the current towns in wynn, they're boring compared to the ones in gavel.

So, lets start. Ragni.

I feel like ragni could have more depth/height variations, so, I made this via paint.net to show elevations.

This will look much more hot than the current ragni and also much more attracting. I also thought adding vines and what not on the walls would be an idea, since the king said "This is one of the most old and beautiful forts you will ever encounter or something".

Detlas doesn't have too much room for improvement, but I thought making the walls look more buff like this http://imgur.com/a/rX4Ih would be hot.

Nemrekt looks very unprotected and vulnerable, as if they learned nothing from Ancient Nemrakt, which I bet they learned something, so lets add walls around it cuz why not. The fences would just be logs pointing up, and would look rather thin. http://imgur.com/a/iTqHU

Now lets get to Ternaves. I think Ternaves should be on a hill, kinda like how Edoras is situated. Kinda with this shape: http://imgur.com/a/POhBS

Now we have Almuj. Now, half of almuj is the bank which is because almuj is rich, but, you gotta realize how unprotected it is, I mean, it seems to be the part they care the least about. http://imgur.com/a/ycpqD

Next is Nesaak. I thought this was a good idea, so lets do it. Lets re arange the buildings to be around the lake, as if it were a fishing town before it got frozen by Theorick's anger issues. http://imgur.com/a/73s5p

Last is Troms, now I don't have any ideas for a re arranging, but, it is in the jungle, where there are alot of plants. Maybe add vines and what not on the walls and some fancier bushes, along with a better variety of plants, and more flowers.

I'm not going to do a rant about the Nemract wall again, but I still don't like the idea of Nemract as a walled-in city. If you really want that wall in, at least make the placement more selective instead of having a wall run across the entire border.

Ragni, Yea, it's a little bland for the most lore centered fort in Wynn. +1
Detlas I'm all for, maybe a small expansion too, it's a little compact. -1
Nemract was rebuilt really quickly and it's not supposed to have too many defenses, but it was built with a river around 30% of it and the ocean on the other side. My feelings on this are a little mixed. 0
Ternaves needs the flat ground for horses, generally ranges are built with this in mind, nah. -1
Almuj is built on a really stair step design, it's got wide open left and rights, not exactly well defended, they could probably use a little bit more organization. +1/2
It's close enough to the lake and near the river as well, though it could do with a little more with the side it's on. +1
Troms could use more Decor. +1

 

Its a thin wall, and it isnt a walled city, just a thin fence.

This is all incredibly specific, which can be good, however, just walls and fences thrown into the map isn't gonna look pretty. Personally not a fan of most of this, given it's pretty intensive and is basically an entire remodel of the city.

 

I don't think you looked at the pictures I gave, Nemract is just a fence, Almuj is just mor ecity planning since current almuj makes no sense, along with some other dtails. Ragni also could be improved alot if elevated.

TL;DR
Half the suggestions you made were fine, the other half were not. Adding walls to cities is not good. It works for Ragni, Detlas, and Troms because they're all strongholds. The suggestion is okay as is. Adding more cities to the list would be interesting. 6/10

Well I do like your argument for Ragni, as it would seem to fit better built into the hillside a bit more. However, changing it drastically would take a way from a lot of Wynncraft history, and I would like to preserve it.

I agree with ganon in that walls are good for stronghold cities, but too many walls can seem really repetitive and can kind of take away from the feel the city is supposed to have (i.e Nemract, Almuj).

I like your suggestion with Troms in that there should be more green. I think for now Nesaak should stay how it is, as it's not really supposed to be large.

It was interesting that you added Ternaves, in fact, I thought you would've mentioned Bremminglar instead. I think if we were to take your suggestion we'd have to re-terrain around it too so the hill didn't seem so abrupt, and that might conflict with the location of Detlas/Almuj, which could be risky.

I think this is well thought out, but with the other projects right now, I don't know if we'd re-do some of these towns again. Then again, Pirate town was remade one update so who knows so could Ternaves.

yea, u right they dont care about the bank, i mean, u only need to use a ladder to go to the emerald place

 

The bank is on a major elevation, they obviously tried to deal with defense.
I'm a bit more worried about the sides beside the bank where the hill leads right up to the city.
