Activity (what should we expect): I have been very active and plan to continue being
What will you bring to the guild? Mostly questions about building and cannon fodder for wars; I haven't really done much pvp and will likely die pretty quickly in my first few attempts. Lots of interest and very little expertise, though I have been told I am stumbling into some pretty good builds.
Why us? Earthbrine recommended I apply because of my interest in builds. I am currently at 68 after doing a lot of quick levelling. I have gear for several possible builds now with a tweak at 70 (bow change). I am an aggressive boltslinger. I am currently way oversimplifying builds, looking at the total damage of shots and spells, hp and effective hp. Current build at 68 is about 6400 hp, 12,000 ehp, bow shot average dps 2734 and arrow storm 34,484. Other spells less but always seem to be relatively so. Good walk speed and mana regen, which are a couple of other things I look for. But I know little about picking powders for the right elemental damage/defense; I just try to keep all the numbers green. Anyway, I have a lot to learn and discuss. I have far more questions than answers and you shouldn't have much faith in the answers. I tend to be verbose and go off on tangents a lot.

 

I mean you got the key points of a build’s stats pretty well, health and speed are mostly for tank builds but I have respect for any well-rounded build that is still good.

Ah yes ty for reminding me. How should I set up the game?

 

Rough concept:
Each side has X (maybe 5? 6? 7?) amount of nodes. Each node requires at least Y (probably 1) amount of resources, or it is abandoned and neutral until a side sends a total of Z resources (I was thinking 3) to claim it. Each day, each member has N (probably two) resources that they can devote to either defending one of their team’s nodes or attacking an enemy team node, or to claim an abandoned node. The “leader” of each side has resources to devote equal to the number of nodes their side controls.
Each side is allowed to strategize how they want, and it is suggested that your side use a forum conversation. Deception, trickery, and backstabbing are all legal tactics.
