i remember looking at this guild for the first time

i was seeking alternatives to leaf - it was a good guild, but i wanted people i could relate to more. enderae told me about this guild - so i joined. it also stuck out to me, it reminded me of the group of kids everyone else thought was weird, but they loved eachother

this thread is having its birthday soon, so i thought id drop some words here. its been about a year since i joined proper, and i want to thank you all
yall have stuck with me through some of the best and worst parts of my life, and no matter what, were some of the only people to treat me like an actual being, an actual friend, not just some weird kid no one talks to. irl im a loner but here? i can be anything i want to be

without yall i dont know if id still play wynn, let alone have the motivation to create the stuff i do today. idve never reverse engineered wynnscript. idve never made wynngenerator. idve never done so much. i dont know if id have the mindstate to create xyraith. one of my dreams, the uzbrpg, would never have existed. even though life sucks for me rn, i think it wouldve been even worse without yall.

and thank you for the good memories that ill never forget. the wells, the calls, the projects, the friendships, the cursed incidents that befall us ever bimonthly, everything.

i dont know if we’ll still be friends 10 years from now, but i goddamn hope we’ll still be. i like to imagine the future - i imagine us, one day, hanging out irl. id be on my laptop coding whatever needs, maybe with surv joining me. or id start a fun game with the fellow chiefs, an irl variant of gartic phone perhaps or whatever board or card game satisfies us. we’d stay up very late; id be in bed half-asleep but still talking to yall through the ever-thin wall that practically echoes sound. and when we all have our own place in some long time from now, im gonna buy everyone plane, train, etc tickets (if theyd like) and we’d atleast see eachother once

you've been my friend through my loneliest, hardest times and always kept me company. all those times we'd play random df games, skyblock, bedwars, everything. ender smp, enderia, all those half-written stories in df chat, you were there through all of it. and indirectly, you kickstarted my writing career. you showed me what writing meant, how much i loved it. you helped me make enderia, my proudest work, and when i'd beat myself up for something i did wrong, you'd always help me outta that ditch. your friendship was a bridge between two isles over an abyss. i don't know where i'd be without you. thank you for everything, and here's to so much more.
