World Random Quest Idea

This is just a random idea I had.
If they build Fruma, there should be a quest where you can visit your old house and learn about your past.

What do you think? xD

Heres how I think it should work:
You find your old friend in a town somewhere. He starts asking you things about your past, but you don't remember anything.
The guy just shrugs and decides to lead you to your old house, because he is curious why you don't remember anything.
You go into the house, and suddenly you recover memories (this would be sort of like in Memory Paranoia).
You go through a bunch of rooms in your house, maybe learn about your son who left the house and got killed in the woods or something idk xD
Idk what should happen next

I think the quest should end with you somehow figuring out that some master Fruma mages casted spells on you to make you forget your past because they were afraid that letting you remember things could be dangerous and will make you want to return to Fruma right when you leave or something.

Do you guys have any other ideas for this?

if so, be sure to try to make your 'random ideas' much more than random!

how would this happen exactly? Do you just follow this guy and he points to your house or something?

Yeah sure, I've always been interested in our origin.

I like your idea, just maybe add a bit more information so we can improve on it more.

also, does this have to be in fruma? maybe somewhere else like ragni or somethin

 

I want it to be in Fruma because that was our homeland before we were recruited to protect Wynn, so I think it would make sense for the player to have lived in a house there before.

I edited it again, I added some more details.

 

I would do it as a remake of the Tower of Amnesia, rather than setting it in a province that we know little about. In the quest, you go to the tower to remove the memory curse put on you by the Fruman government. You’d then relive past memories of your life in Fruma. This could be via cutscenes and/or isolated quest areas like in Memory Paranoia.
