World Quest: The Living Darkness

Not sure this will be added, and don't know if it's good, but here is a suggestion for an introduction to Dern.

The Living Darkness

Level min: 83
Difficulty: Hard

Stage 1: Go to the mysterious portal in the Abandoned Mines
As you enter, you feel weak and nauseous...

Stage 2: Explore this new realm and find a lost survivor
Tafarc: ....help.... me....
Tafarc: mind...... taken over..... possessed...
It looks like something has got him. Suddenly, your head hurts...

Stage 3: What happened?
You are trapped in your own corrupted mind...
???: I HAVE TAKEN OVER YOUR MIND, YOUR SOUL, YOUR BODY, HUMAN!
???: NOTHING WILL ESCAPE MY GRIP!

Stage 4: Kill the Darkness Soul and obtain [1 Dark Soul Fragment]
Tafarc: I have escaped being possessed by a Dark Soul.
Tafarc: Now, you are revived because you destroyed the presence of one.
Tafarc: Let us leave this wretched place, never to be possessed again.

Rewards:

1280000 XP
2100 Emeralds
[Access to Dern Province]

 

IF they're going to do a Dern entrance quest it will be a whole lot bigger than this, with more lore, and better backstory.

 

The posessing part is a nice idea, but for such a ques to work out you'd need a prequel, or way more story / lore, leading up to it.
(Also, nice to see you on the forums again >^<)

 

w8 this quest only has 4 stages why is its difficulty hard?

 

Appreciate the idea, but this is obviously in the works already. Dern will come. Have patience.
