World (quest: Starstruck [valentines 2016 Or 2017 Quest])

So i decided to make a quest for valentines day since its coming up this sunday, and thought i'd sneak some gavel into it just to make it blend in better. Proper pronunciation of the names are in parentheses, So here goes:



Quest: Starstruck
Difficulty: Easy
Level min: 45

Speaking to any NPC before quest

Rahs: Hmm. I'd like some help right about now, but you're probably busy right now. [Come back when you're lvl 45.]

Ekoh: Oh by the light deities. I just cant find my writing paper. Huh? is someone there?

Remlak: Go away please, i'm trying to think..

Etmmei: Come on! Step it up! If we're going to make a move to fight back the corruption of this land, we need to know how to fight those blasted creatures!




Speak with Rahs (Rass) in Llevigar, in one of the gardens


Rahs: [1/6] Hello, adventurer. I know you are probably much too busy for my seemingly petty request at this time, but i know of 2 people who could use someone to play cupid for this special day.

Rahs: [2/6] After all, valentines day is quite the custom with your race if i am not mistaken.

Rahs: [3/6] I'd reccomend you talk with Ekoh first, he lives fairly close, in a hillside cavern. It's quite cozy there, and considering he claims he has dragon blood in his veins, its quite fitting.

Rahs: [4/6] I'll write down where it is just incase you get lost somehow, but you are known rather well to me. I've kept an eye on you. I used to be a fighter like you. Magic was my specialty.

Rahs: [5/6] So i know you can find it. Hope you can help those 2 get together. It shouldn't be too hard, i saw a star fall last night. I'm planning on enchanting it to soar through the sky tomorrow night

Rahs: [6/6] If you can get them together by nightfall tomorrow it'll be quite the show. You wont want to miss it either!



Talk to Ekoh (ee-kow)
Ekoh: [1/2] What's this? I havent seen a human up here since i had this place renovated! Rather charming fellow, his name was Bob if i recall. You want to help me talk to Remlak?

Ekoh: [2/2] What should i say to him? I'm a good speaker, but i get nerves whenever i am trying to talk to him.

*You are teleported to a room with 4 NPCs (2 are pieces of paper, the other 2 are signs) [The signs say the letter you will send, the paper is to send it]

Tip: [1/1] Click the sign to read the note to pick what note you will send. Click the paper to send it

'Hello, remlak. I want to talk to you. Meet me in the middle of llevigar, by the statues, tomorrow night

Option 2:

Depending on which you picked, you'll get a piece of paper, quest item, that has in the lore the msg you picked. Note 1 or note 2

Bring the note to Remlak (Rem-lak)
Remlak: [1/1] I'm busy...Oh what's this? A note?

If you picked 2:

Remlak: [1/1] I'm not a fighter.. I'm not going to show for this...Sorry, i'm distracted. Here, thanks for bringing me the note, but i'm not going to do this.

Ekoh: [4/4] Whoa! Look up!

*There is a pink partical trail followed by some small firework ball patterns to simulate a shooting star*


Remlak: [1/5] Did you plan this, adventurer?
Ekoh: [2/5] Yes, he did. He helped me send you that letter and all.
Remlak: [3/5] I know its a bit much to ask but could you ask Captain Etmmei if we could borrow their training ground next week for something?
Ekoh: [4/5] For what?
Remlak: [5/5] You will see

Speak to captain of the guard Etmmei (Eht-may) to ask her permission

Etmmei: [1/3] That's a tall order, bud. We're using that to train to fight back the decay. That's what they call it anyways.
Etmmei: [2/3] But i guess it couldn't hurt for one night. Don't look so shocked, i have emotion too y'know. Just cause I'm a captain of the guard...
Etmmei: [3/3] Tell those 2 they can have it for that short time. But we'll need it back the morning after, okay? No camping trips on our training grounds, if that's what they're planning


Talk to Remlak
R: [1/4] Wonderful! See you there!]
*Teleportation to a small copy of the training ground*
R: [2/4] Ekoh, we've been friends a long time. Will you marry me?
E: [3/4] Woah thats a bit fast, but i guess so. Sure.
R: [4/4] Here, you've helped us through this a lot. This is just a small token of my gratitude for what you've done.

Sorry for the HUGE wall of text.

Spoiler: TL;DR

You help "Ekoh" and "Remlak" get together with the help of the mage "Rahs" and the captain of the llevigar guard "Etmmei". This has 2 endings. One where you mess up the relationship and one where you save/cause it.

Lore tidbit: That "Star" that shot across the sky was pink. WHAT IF it had a magical property like the purple and blue crystal, or the meteor of insanity? What if it was like a cupid's arrow but in star form?

Good quest!
Just a few qualms, one about text and another about the items.
1. [1/1] The One-eyed Guy: It's not 100% required, but it is much more satisfying to see the quest text in correct color and format.

2. The token of gratitude is already a quest item if I am not mistaken. Maybe a different name?

3. The "3D Heart Shape" is difficult. Why? Because the textures depend on the level and element used. It wouldn't really be fair for one quest reward weapon to be important enough to have it's own texture when even Bob's Mythics don't have that.

4. Stats for the weapons?

5. And when you include stats, including that ring, It's also more appealing when it's in the right format. Here, I'll do the ring for you:

Just the same for the weapons, but with a class requirement and an attack speed right under the name.

6. A ring and a weapon seems a bit overpowered, especially when you get the Quartron's Eye at around the same time.

nice quest idea but problems are theres no way they can make new textures by valentimes day, option 2 is dumb and doesnt fitt wynn style, and 2x more le just because you pick it...

Its a Valentine's quest. I know it sucks but I ran out of time. I'll edit this idea @ home

 

Removed weapon and token, still the ring is pretty good)

 

FYI this quest will definetly not make it this year since it takes more than 3 days to build and make a quest and them import it into the main world. ALTHOUGH, maybe they did make a valentines quest!

 

Thats why i said it could be 2017 too. Anyways - I doubt they made one this year. its usually for the big holidays

xD Kalmer gave me all the names. I should've made you a captain of a small airship or something, and raised the lvl req to be in cinfras, maybe give the gear and stuff some buffs
