[quest] Mushroom Madness

so since there's so many quests outside there why won't we make some about our beloved Yahya and his mushrooms? ( ͡ ° ͜ʖ ͡ °)

1.Go talk to Yahya in his cave in Canyon of the Lost

Yahya: Oh!Hi guys!Hows your day doin…umm,what are you doing here?
Yahya: Uhm…er…the weather is nice isn't it?
Yahya: Don't ask me why I'm here…Oh,I'm hungry,ehe…
Yahya: Umm,would you…like to bring me some mushrooms to make a stew?Because…ehe I'm the mushroom man…haha…umm
Yahya: …
Yahya: Now go get me [144826 Blue mushrooms]…er RIGHT NOW!
Yahya: …geez…

2.Go to a cave nearby and talk to Lodgti
Lodgti: Oh,look,a stranger! What can I do for you?
Lodgti: Mushrooms?No problem!I just got some behind me!umm…excuse me?
Lodgti: [144826 Blue Mushrooms]!?!?
Lodgti: You're crazy!What are you gonna do with all those mushrooms??
Lodgti: Oh…its Yahya…I'm sorry if sounded rude there
Lodgti: So are you really deciding to bring [144826 Blue Mushrooms] to him to make a stew?
Lodgti: …
Lodgti: Bring this back to him,come back to find me only if he doesn't accept this.

3.Take the [Glowing Mushroom] back to Yahya
Yahya: Guys let me tell you that weird…oh,you're back…with the mushrooms for…stew
Yahya: Now give me…what is that in you hand!?
Yahya: Oh…my…goodness
Yahya: Loooook it's sooo beautiful…
-It seems like that mushroom really got Yahya's attention,maybe you should check out his cave during this time…

4. Explore Yahya's cave
(There's a hidden switch within the cave,when you clicked the button a passage will open,walking inside will teleport you away and update the quest book,advancing to the next stage)
-A weird smell enters your nose…

5.Explore the hidden cave
(The cave is filled with big mushrooms,mushroom NPCs spawns inside,they are all over the place,running around like crazy. Walk along the cave and you will eventually came up to a teleporting point,teleport you to a new location)
-You feel a little bit dizzy…

6.Talk to "Ragni's" King? in Ragni'
"Ragni's" King?: Help!Our kingdom is being invaded by large spores!
"Ragni's" King?: Kill their leading mushroom and stop them invading!

7. Kill the Giant Mushroom and enter the spider cave
(Kill the giant mushroom,get the quest item and enter the cave,it will teleport you to possibly Detlas)

8. Talk to Bob's ugly Young Sister in Detlas?
Bob's ugly Young Sister: Oh no!I've lost my spider pet!I could've find my brother to help me out but…he's pretty high…yeah
Bob's ugly Young Sister: I'd last seen my spider near that cave over there,go down and see if he's there or not!

9. Go deep within the cave and find the spider
(Okay you're surely not gonna find the spider but once again you will get teleported once you reached the end of the cave :)
And this time you will get teleported to the possibly Canyon of the Lost)

10. Talk to Yahya again in his cave
Yahya: Umm…can you leave me and my fellas alone?
Yahya: No?Fine…die now then you dirty thing!

Mooshroom Herd - Summons a herd of 6 mooshrooms charging at the player,dealing 753-1377 damage upon hitting players

Pretty sure they won't add language like this in Quests.

This would seem more annoying than epic in a boss fight.

Bob has a younger sister?

Yahya cannot be reused an an NPC, as stated in the GM Guidelines, but can only be referenced by other NPCs.

These kinds of Quests are starting to get repetitive.

Maybe adding spaces after each comma would make it grammatically correct in English.

Fix all of these minor issues and I'd say this Quest is solid.

10,000,000 is actually quite reasonable, considering 12,250,000 is required to get from 99-100.

But you killed Yahya in that weird drugs quest.

First,this quest is actually very similar to Shattered Minds,you went crazy because of mushrooms(again),but this time you're seeing things that's similar to what Yahya sees everyday,so yeah,have fun

Second,Kamikaze is an exploding attack,meaning that if you just get out of the way you will take no damage,and he will not use this spell more than once,meaning if you survived the first one,he will never use it again. And I mean,half of the boss' health gone!for doing nothing!

I mean,in Shattered Minds you talk back to [Likeru?] the NPC in the 'Light Forest',Efilim,the paths,they are the same with the light forest,but different location. Same thing with that

And btw,Yahya in Shattered Minds is not an NPC,he is a mob with level OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!

So 30000 elemental defence is underpowered

 

Tweaked a bit,still having quite a high elemental defence tho

And btw don't compare a drug dealer with the strongest boss in the game( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

 

I'm comparing them by EXP reward, it's just fucking ridiculous to expect an easy quest like this, especially at level 99 to have a 10M exp reward, Anyways I'm done arguing about it. Your suggestion not mine

Tbh if I can I would make it regenerate 800 HP every 0.5 seconds
But meh,30k each 10 seconds works too

Quests

Before starting a new quest, write what every stage will do, where every NPC will be and make sure that it won’t be too grindy or too boring and make sure it fits in with the lore of the area. Grinding it okay, but not too much.

A same NPC cannot be in multiple quests." (I think it means no same starter NPC, since Ragni's King is the starter NPC for King's Recruit, but appears in WynnExcavation Site D as the ending NPC).

Multiple of the same starting character is allowed so long as they aren't the same NPC, for instance Ragni's King is allowed because it's in a different location of the original Ragni's King. Hence a different NPC. Yahya is featured in a plethora of quests, but in each one is a different NPC to the different quests.

 

Yahya is the Starter NPC for Mushroom Man, but he isn't for other Quests. There are multiple of the same NPCs shown in in Quests, however, they are not the starter. I have looked on the Wiki and I have not seen two starter NPCx that share the same exact name.
