Quest: Corruption Of Gavel

Ok so before I start I want you to know this will probably be terrible, as i am not a good writer.

Credit to idea:

Ok so first you start in Gavel, at some unknown town, this quest is an idea for after Gavel is added, and will likely require tons of tp scrolls.

Quest available at level 95-100(somewhere in there or higher)

Talk to Levag at some coordinates(Levag...so creative):

1/6: Hello traveller, finally you came!
[2/6]: We need your help, corruption is seeping into Gavel!
[3/6]: If this continues Gavel could lie in ruins!
[4/6]: I do not know how this could possibly be fixed, but I think I know someone who does: the oldest villager in Gavel!
[5/6]: His name is Ragnos, he should resemble someone you know, as he is related to the King of Ragni.
[6/6]: Now, go talk to him and find out how to stop this problem of ours!

Locate Ragnos

Talk to Ragnos

Ragnos [1/6]: Wait! Wha? You! I was sleeping!
[2/6]: Oh, you have come to ask a question... well, since I have the time, go ahead.
[3/6]: Oh, you wish to know how we can stop the corruption?
[4/6]: Well, first, you must travel to the Realm of Light and find the leader of a mining team there.
[5/6]: They should know of a powerful source of magic they found years ago: The Shard of Pure Light.
[6/6]: Go bring it to me, I

Go to the light realm and talk to the leader of the mining team

Bratislav [1/6]: What do you want?! Can you see I'm busy mining here?!
[2/6]: Oh, you wish to know where you can find a light shard? Very well.
[3/6: It is located in a pyramid that was buried years ago, but I have forgotten the location of it.
[4/6: It is protected though, by the powerful Light Golems.
[5/6]: The Pyramid is many floors deep, and you will be forced to start at the top.
[6/6]: It would be impressive if you ever managed to return...

Leave the light realm and find the pyramid

Fight your way to the bottom and fight the iron golems (note: they are difficult mobs)

Claim the Shard of Pure Light from the Sun Shrine

Bring the Sun Shrine back to Levag

Levag [1/6]: Impressive, I've read about this, I hear it comes from the very sun itself!
[2/6]: Now we can burn away all the corruption!
[3/6]: I fear however, until you find a way into Dern.
[4/6]: There is no way to eliminate the corruption from where it starts, and end the spreading of corruption.
[5/6]: But on behalf of Gavel, we thank you for giving us a mean of protecting ourselves until Dern can be brought down.
[6/6]: And as such, take some emeralds and this family heirloom to protect yourself until the time comes.

Fight your way to the bottom and fight the iron golems(note: they are difficult mobs)

Claim the shard of pure light from the sun shrine

Bring the sun shrine back to Levag

Levag: Impressive, I've read about this, I hear it comes from the very sun itself
Levag: It can burn away all corruption
Levag: I fear however, until you find a way into Dern
Levag: There is no way to eliminate the corruption from where it starts
Levag: And end the spreading of corruption
Levag: But on behalf of Gavel, we thank you for giving us a mean of protecting
Levag: Ourselves until Dern can be brought down.
Levag: And as such take some emeralds and
Levag: This family heirloom to protect yourself until that time comes

400,000 Xp
20 liquid emeralds
X1 Kings Plate

Kings Plate Stats:

125 defense
Min level: 100(or whatever the last level is when Gavel is added)

Notes:
Levag is gavel spelled backwards
I was too lazy to put numbers in

Ragnos is derived from Ragni
Bratislav is derived from Bratislava the Capitol of the country Slovakia, where I went last summer on a vacation

Also bonus one: I understand I cannot write well, my writing skills stink and I get writers block writing proofs in geometry(and you can use the same format over and over with proofs)

1. Please, some more text immersion or at least grammar. Good writing or not, it's important to do this.
2. Now that the new item system is coming, you'll need a lot more than item names, defense values, and levels. You also forgot identifications.
3. Golem stats? Just saying 'they are hard' isn't exactly flowing with information.
4. A little longer quest- Seems pretty short.

Realistically thinking, since this quest mentions a light shard FROM the sun. If added, it could lead to a way to get to the sun which would add MORE content after Dern ultimately meaning there COULD be more to come after Dern.

 

I want you to give Credit to GrimSkullGaming also. i was just building off of his idea and you just built off of my idea which was built off of his idea IDEA-SEPTION, Though i feel like this Quest sould have some kind of boss Why you ask? Cause i fucking love killing things that other people have trouble with killing. Don't judge me.. Still a good idea though But i still like Grims suggestion a bit more. @GrimSkullGaming

 

Grins suggestion? I literally added 1 quote and keeping what I had gathered on gavel and that 1 quote I made this. I had no idea Grim had made something similar, Can you give me a link of some sort? So I can add his quote in too.

Personally, I think Wynn needs as many quests as possible, so people with good ideas for quests should be posting them. I actually expected a lot more hate from this when I posted it

Gavel is a source of magic and other stuff, and doesn't contain any thing about corruption (Wynn is the source of corruption, not gavel).

 

Yeah but what about the door when it opens and we have access to Dern. What happens to Gavel then?
