So I just want to say a few things before I get started. First off being that I love the looting system here. I have always enjoyed max/min ing items and im on my way to a perfect loot bonus set. I am in no way an experienced player but I have done my fair share of looting as shown in the image below

That being said there are a few things I would love and would vastly improve the quality of life for loot farmers. I have two suggestions that I feel would make a great improvement not only to the game, but would improve the marker, the amount of items actually farmed, and the pride a player gets when he gets that ridiculously rare drop.

Suggestion 1: MORE PARTICLES / or alternative function

To elaborate, I think it would be awesome if loot that drops had a "loot beam" in a sense, where the item would give off particles of varying colors depending on its rarity. Too many times I have been farming loot and filled my inventory but there is still that one more piece on the ground that i couldnt pick up cause my inventory was full, but in the back of my head I worry that it might be the item I need.

I understand that items are rolled on drop but you dont know what the item is until you identify it, and I agree it should stay that way. However the items RARITY is shown on drop and not hidden. It would be amazing if for example if a mythic dropped it had particles spreading out of the item model when it was on the ground in the color of its rarity (purple). Thus letting the player know, hey man you might wanna toss an item and pick that up real quick cause you just became a badass mythic finder!

EDIT: So I dont know a lot about minecraft and its workings, and someone brought to my attention that this could be abused by a player that drops a bunch of trash items on the ground all with particles lagging up areas.

If there was some other way of showing "rarity" while the item was still on the ground it would be awesome personally. Not necessarily particles

    Suggestion 2: Global announcement!

So there are a few items in the game and acheivments that a player should be hella proud of if they get them. Being fairly new the only three I can say with confidence should be globaly announced are: Receiving a mythic drop (cause come on man that drop rate), hitting lvl 100, and hitting lvl 101.

Imagine how jelly all those noobs will be when their chat log is hit with a big old shout out from the server "_____ is better than you, they hit lvl 100" (obviously the shout doesnt have to be exactly that just an example)

So spam more particles that block up your screen with the ones you already like and spam chat?

you can very easily turn off particles, its an option. And yes if it was a toggleable thing that a player could turn on / off as needed I think it would very much be an improvement.

As for your "spam chat" complaint. I do believe that one line of chat saying "Bromanguy hit lvl 100" would not be that much of a problem to the kids that keep the salt out of their lives

The spam is how many people hit it, and get the mythic drop, mythics can actually be very common doesn't matter how good they can still be common if you have high loot bonus and some people have full out loot bonus and still get it at random, not much an achievement to shout and if they need a shout they can buy one.....
