Zarxik:"Hunter's are smart people, they might be able to tell us about our enemies"

 

Hector : "Why people from Thundra know about our enemy ?"

 

Zarxik:"Hunters hunt and the animals will tell them about distant lands and info on strange things"

 

Hector : "What strange ?"

Knaal:"If they can survive in the tundra they can probably defend themselves from your "evil" guys. And aren't they in the desert anyway so how would they get to the hunters."

No now you just think that he wants to defend the hunters, you're not suspicious of anything. You can still criticize him for wanting to go there.
