Gnome:"Well you see."
He hopes down from a stool and comes around infront of the counter
Gnome:"Your an adventurer are you not?"
Gnome:"we i specialize in making more... Exciting weapons"
Gnome:"The names felfitz by the way"
He raises his hand for you to shake.

 

“Horgrold.”
I shake his hand.
“I’m interested.”

Anyways, I'll have a look at this shop with the gear.

 

He pulls out a staff and a band.
Gnome:"this staff here.."
Gnome:"its has the abilty to be charged with elemental energy by this band here."
Gnome:"on top of chargng this staff it can deflect elemental attacks."

artificer shop lots of weird gadgets made by a gnome.

 

"...I'm not much on charging elemental energies. Sorry."

 

The gnome frowns thinks for a moment then runs behind the counter.
He comes back with a pouch pf a black substance and a metal staff.
Gnome:"this 'ere is called a boom stick"
Gnome:"you load this gunpowder into the stick then when you hit something it cuases an explosion!"

 

"...Wouldn't that just explode in my face, then...?"
I say softly.

 

The gnome raises a finger stops and says.
Gnome:"right right..."
He sighs slugs behind the counter snd brings out a jar of oil and another stick eith holes in at either end.

Gnome:"this is an oil stick. It leaks oil and douses enmies"

 

I think for a moment.
"Yes, actually, that's fairly useful."

 

Right i need to sleep.

 

Are there any items up for show or just out in open view?
If so: Do I know what they do?

 

Like i said bizzare contraptions lime the walls.

I mean if you looked for a certain weapon type/thing then i'm sure there'd be something.

I peer at him.
"...What's the stick so special, again?"

 

Why's the stick so special?

Gnome:"Like i said douses people you hit with it in oil.. you can also light the ends and have it fucntion as a torch... or a flaming stick"

 

"...Then why wouldn't I just hit people with the flask of oil, which most places sell for maybe one or two silver?"
I ask, speaking softly again.
