I point at the draconic being.

 

It has 10 Intelligence and the ability to understand Common and Draconic.

Anafenza: "Just a traveling companion of mine."

The dragon nods.

The dragon, probably.

 

Sorry, thought that was implied from my last message. The dragon.

 

I'm just terrible at figuring out obvious things.

The dragon shakes its head and purrs like a cat.

 

Raedurg: "So, what's it's name?"

 

Anafenza: "His name is Dorghalan."
Dorghalan purrs.

OOC: I wasn't feeling very creative when I decided on the name. Just assume it's Dwarven in origin.

 

I pet it if you're close enough to the ground, I can't remember your altitude.

 

About 5-10 feet off the ground. Dorghalan just flies over to Raedurg with his wings, so it doesn't even matter.

 

I pet it.

 

Dorghalan seems to enjoy it.

 

Natasha: "So... while the clichéd saying is 'know thine enemy', I think it may be better to first know my allies. Who are the two of you, and what has led you to seek out this insane quest?"

 

Raedurg: "I am a knight of an order that will go unnamed for the time being (OOC: Take a guess). I came here to gain power for reasons linked to said order."

(I didn't do much for Raedurg's backstory since this isn't a rp-intensive campaign)

 

Anafenza: "I'm a city guard from Ner Gerum Citadel, on the continent of Kaelar."
Anafenza: "Have you heard of it?"

OOC: I can never remember whether it's Ner Gerum or Ner Gurum.

 

Natasha: "Not in the slightest."

 

Anafenza: "It's... an interesting place."
Anafenza: "The dwarves there live inside a perpetual thunderstorm!"
Anafenza: "Well, not actually inside the thunderstorm. They just live in the area it effects."
