Dorghalan takes off and stealthily flies towards the people to get a look at them. Anafenza sees through his eyes once he gets to a good vision point.

Out of the darkness, a dark red shard or something flies out, too fast to properly see what it is. The object strikes Dorghalan in the chest (16+whatever=hit). You feel the life force drain from your body as the shard stops you, mid-flap of your wings (6+3=9 piercing)

Dorghalan’s lifeless body falls to the ground as the figures laugh psychoticslly

But, make a perception check to see what you managed to see before Dorghalan was vanquished

Suddenly, two lions jump down in front of you. Except, the lions have humanoid faces, dragon wings, and are covered with spikes, including a cluster on their tails.

“Deaaaaath? Face death? Your face shall indeed be filled with death.”

Anafenza: "Gondathor smite you!"

Pure white lightning flashes from the sky, striking the two creatures in a glorious blast of divine power and illuminating the dark night. More thunder rattles down in the same place, at such a speed that it appears to form a glowing cylinder.

TL;DR: Anafenza casts moonbeam on the creatures (using a Warlock spell slot). They must both make a Constitution saving throw.
