@DragonEngineer & @Eugeniy The only redeeming factor about Pure now is that it's a mythic, nothing much. Go buy an Ethereal trust me. I have a 472% Spell Damage Pure and it does less damage than my 33% Spell damage Ethereal.'

AND Ethereal can be purchased at the max of like 15-20LE "max"

 

I remember my Pure (320%) does less damage than my old Ethereal (20%)

 

Your spells scale off of your neutral damage, sadly Pure has no. I have three wands in my inventory, "Bob's Mythic Wand", "Ethereal", and "Pure", the last time I used the Pure was before lvl 70 before I could use Ethereal, I thought Ethereal would just be for Bob then I realized it's damage is way higher than Pure ( Nearly 2K more )

 

Basically Pure's spell damage % has no effect?

 

It does in some way, I think this is how it goes - it affects the spells based damage, but spells scale with neutrals damage
