As I'm going to bed now, here are my thoughts about this night:
I think we all seem to believe that we have to find someone ingame. For the location I would see two options:
    1. The "Little wood cabin" (which has already been discussed here), because there are just so many hints (fireflies, ravine, timing, cabin etc. +Its a place Doctress can reach with a lvl. 3 class). But actually, the amount of hints makes me believe that there is something we overlook here, because "Night of Mercury" and "Cabin by the trees" seems to be too obvious to be the final solution.
    2. Nesaak in the past (the place you visit during Fate of the Fallen). "rewind" and "timing is special" could mean that we have to travel back in time and in addition, "Young nation" would also make sense in this context, as the Nesaak we visit is much younger than the present one. On the other side, we won't find Doctress here, but maybe Emilia.
Which leads to another question: Why are the two locations being described, that we have to visit on two different days (Young nation at night, someone waits there -> Two days later, cabin, someone waits there)? Until yesterday I believed that we have to meet two players, someone at Monday night (probably Emilia in past Nesaak), the next one on Wednesday (probably Doctress in the cabin), but as nothing happened on Monday I'm not sure anymore. Especially because these two locations dosn't seem to connect, the first one dosn't lead to the second, which is why I wonder why do we even have to go there. We might aquire the item we have to bring to Doctress there, but I haven't found anything special in Nesaak (if it is Nesaak at all).
Besides that, I'm not actually sure if we have to bring a item. It says "To obtain the first lead" and if the final goal would be to deliever an item, that would be the solution, not a lead. My theory was the following: "Bring" could hint towards a boss altar, where you have to bring items to activate it. I would assume that the altar is the "Prison of souls", where you have to bring ghostly essence, which is being dropped by the ghosts around the House of Twain. According to the lore, they are filled with sorrow about things they couldn't complete in life, so their essence could hold sorrow, as described in the line. I'm not sure what the emerald line means, maybe it relates to the fact that you have to pay tribute at several stages during the House of Twain quest.
Overall, all of this is connected to the Twains, which could hint again towards past Nesaak. So the first verse doesn't mean we have to deliver something, but instead leads, in addition to the second verse, to the next location, past Nesaak. But as I said, thats just a theory with many holes and is probably wrong, but its the best of what I could think of or read under this thread. If we really have to deliver something (which seems more likely to me, as nothing happend on Monday, because I can't imagine we just have to walk into the cabin and done, that would make the other parts of the riddle obsolete), I have no clue (but I'm sure its not an apple).

Seeing as the night of mercury is over, perhaps you should lock this thread for now?
