Casting spells that isn't RRR but also serve as another mobility spell should also prevent fall damage.

    Pseudo-mobility spells include:
    • Lacerate
    • Arrow Bomb w/ Rocket Jump
    • maybe Whirlwind Strike? idk haven't tried it yet
    Why?
It would be more intuitive that way, since they're also being used for mobility. Pls I use Arrow Bomb for mobility then suddenly half my health is gone

    pls and ty

Also teleport doesn't remove fall damage like other spells

It does reset your fall damage count though, so casting teleport ~10 blocks above the ground will probably deal with damage.

having fun with rocket jump and then landing on the ground for it to take half my hp in fall damage.
Would love if I could nullify fall damage with a perfectly timed arrow bomb, archer in general can be a bit iffy if want to break your fall but don't have the leap ability.

It doesn't help that Rocket Jump and Escape puts you in incredibly similar trajectories, so it's easy to forget whether you used Arrow Bomb or Escape, especially if you're In The Zone(tm).

That is so real. Archer is the only class that doesn't have a straightforward way to cancel fall damage.

Also yes using Rocket Jump to cancel fall damage would be SO metal

Oh yeah, does Hop/Leap cancel fall damage? If not, then should they? They're pretty much just jumping but better, and jumping isn't really tied to cancelling fall damage.

Maybe it's fine for them to "reset" fall damage like what Teleport does. Hop/Leap does break your momentum so it should feel intuitive.

Honestly, my main issue with this is that it’s somehow make Lightweight even more obsolete of a MID, but it’s already fairly useless as all [non-mage] classes do have spells to cancel fall dmg, so it’s not that big of a deal

Idk about leap, but hop doesn't. It's really annoying on Acro cuz sometimes I hop and forget to lacerate or dash and take a ton of damage from falling
    that's valid.

Would like to point out that at no point playing mage has fall damage ever been an issue. Also I assume the reason tp doesn't negate fall damage is because it can be used multiple times in the air unlike other movement spells (That I've used)

charge can do that (warrior). I agree that it doesn't really matter though.
I feel like the game should either
    a) Make fall damage actually mean something, make it appear more in the game?? idk
    or
    b) Maybe remove it altogether? Lightweight is already a MID that I never notice if I have in a build or not, because there is one (1) time in the entire game where I ever really notice fall damage doing anything (that is, if I have a build with like 10+ jumpheight but no Lightweight). It's a fairly useless MID already, because fall dmg is just not that much of an issue at all

With how fast-paced Wynncraft's gameplay can be, I think removing fall damage would be the better option. However fall damage existing does add something to the game: while you can easily deal with fall damage, you still have to deal with it.

I will agree though that Lightweight is practically useless.
