    Hey everyone!

I would like to clarify as to why we've banned usage of WynnEnhanced.
Two days ago we noticed that several thousand players were connecting through the same IP address.
We decided to block the IP address while we further investigated what it was.
Running a check on the address yielded no valuable information, except for the fact it was registered to a company that offers anonymous proxies and was reported as abusive by a variety of different companies.
After blocking the IP, I was personally contacted by a few people who were failing to connect to the server.
They all had one thing in common: They were using WynnEnhanced.
I looked a bit further into WynnEnhanced and found a small, rather well hidden bit of configuration, making people by default connect to a domain not owned by Wynncraft, but made to look like it.
I will not be stating this domain for safety/security reasons, but I'm sure some of you will be able to find it if you look through the modpack yourself.
This domain pointed to the IP I found before.
Long story short: The modpack is forcing players to connect through an alternate domain, which serves as a proxy.
This is not stated on the modpack website and can be used for a wide variety of malicious reasons.

After finding all of that, we decided to ban anyone involved in the development of said pack, at least while we worked on removing it.
Not only was this a major breach of trust, but it is also illegal and against our terms.
One of the developers then approached me, asking for clarification, which I gave him.
He then apologised, asking whether he and the other two developers would still be allowed to play, even though the modpack was taken down.
He claimed to not be involved in development of the malpractice.
With the modpack being taken down, I saw no real reason to also keep these players banned from playing the game, provided they wouldn't publish any modpacks anymore.
