    Wha... What?

The staff incorrectly banned a mod due to a misconception they could have avoided if they just asked.

    Your response:

Lol they don't have to unban the mod lol it's not their problem.

I’m having a hard time figuring out what everyone is arguing about. All I can see is that the staff found some code that could be there for malicious intent, and warn the community about it. It might not be malicious, but it’s good for the staff to tell people about it just in case, so those who want to stay safe and uninstall it can and those who don’t don’t have to.

Cept then the mod creators literally say that like... it's a normal forge mod thing. If the mods just.. ya know asked what it was they could have realized, mods have this, it does nothing, it's not dangerous.

Then you have people arguing back that no matter what, the mods are still right for playing it safe. They could have just... asked...

Why are you twisting what I said and resorting to such a childish behaviour?
My response was directed at "they could have asked them" part. They didn't have to do that nor will they.
Threat was made. Staff acted. Asking mod creators about it is void as they have no leg to stand on, especially Unknown. It's like asking a bank robber about bank robbery, how exactly do you think it will go? Did you rob a bank? No? Ohhh, he is innocent, case closed!?

I am not sure why I am here discussing it with you since you are missing the point. It's not about the mod, it's about the safety of thousands of users. It's easy for you to speak out of your ass since you aren't responsible for them. I'm done here, take care Meric.

I'm not twisting what you said. I don't know what your trying to say then.

    Threat was made?
That threat is ancient, they already delt with that.

This new thing is about the PROXY.

It's like asking an untrustworthy source?

Legit its the recommended forge mod way to do something or some shit. Some basic looking into it would have ya know... worked.

They just saw it, didn't care what it did and banned the mod.

Asking any forge mod creator or Kirdow would have clarified it instantly. Heck just even looking into the code more would have.
Why cam't you just accept the staff made a mistake?

Asked who, the mod creators who have every reason to lie? Even if it is normal, that doesn’t mean it’s 100% safe. Either way, They tell the community because some people would want to stay safe and uninstall. Nobody is losing anything by doing this. If you were in a building and some security checks showed someone had something looking suspiciously like a weapon, the security would usher everyone out just in case before asking about it.

I just took a look at my source and I think I see where the misconception occurred. And I'm gonna be open with this.

So I discovered my website has request logs, which is actually normal, most websites have this. But I wanted to know who made the requests so I added the UUID to the UserAgent of the request, this is basically the same way Twitch Desktop App download page knows if it should send you a Windows EXE download or a Mac download (I don't know what file format they use though), because your UserAgent contains your browser info and Operating System info. This is normal. So I decided to add the player's UUID as specified on my big post up above. Now, the thing that I think made this look malicious isn't that I send the UUID, which means UniqueUserID if I'm not mistaken. Instead it's how Minecraft's code itself makes it look like I grab something else. As you can see in the following screenshot I grab the ID off of something looking like a Session. (screenshot at the bottom). Now after the stuff that went down with Unknown last year, it is indeed very obvious that the staff would see this as the Session Token.
In reality, I'm getting the ID from the player "profile" from the player's "session", since the session stores both the session ID and the user profile. This is why I think this stuff went down recently.

And only reason this happened now is because Jp made a change causing lots of players to have connection issues. All of which used the modpack. So he took a look at the pack and told me he found some shady stuff, and since knowing Jp he knows his stuff well, I'm sure he deobfuscated the minecraft methods into readable names and saw I'm copying something from the session into a web request, even though it's simply just the user's ID and not actually the session token which it could look like if you look quickly at the surface.

So in the end I think this is partially my fault, and partially their fault, and ended up just being a misunderstanding.

This point of denial is just ridiculous.
I have the images, but I'll assume I should let them where they are since they aren't public anymore, I tried explaining Wynncraft's Moderation Team's point for this whole day, if you continue to argue about facts, I'll leave it there, and won't answer anymore.
You can feel free to taunt me since you'll do it anyway, but don't go as far as breaking the rules.

Soooo are you going to answer my question or not....

Will the mod be allowed again now that the "proxy" has been found non-malicious?

From personal guesses I'd say most likely not, and I can understand that, since they got a threat from the other creator, and now since they found something looking malicious. And even though it might not be malicious in the end, I'm sure they don't want to risk their players getting their accounts stolen.

On the bright side, Scyu or "Felix-kyun" I think he's named at some places. He's working on his own mod called Wynntils, He has his own discord, which I wont link but I'm sure you can find it somewhere, I think it looks promising, so I'd suggest everyone go to that one, since from what I heard it will have everything both enhanced and expansion had, also with additional features that weren't in any of our mods.
