I recently have become very interested in learning programming languages (stop I'm a nerd) and I was wondering if anyone knows any free sites or useful videos that teach Python.

These are some sites I've used myself. I'm a nerd too. LOL

 

Codeacademy I would recommend for learning python, but if you are an absolute beginner, many great programming concepts can be learnt with Building Java Programs Version 4. Its a big book, but is what many colleges use to teach programming.
