Credit to @Bongo_Fin for Orginal idea.
The questline would be called Gathering and Crafting, and would be mostly low level. This questline would help players learn about profs, since the profs intro was removed from the tutorial
So anyway here is the questline
The quest would be overall the same, just with a name change, and the fact it gives some xp to all professions. This part of the questline would introduce the cooking profession.
The Detlas Barracks is a level 8 quest that requires you to make a dagger/spear and a wand/bow/relik to replace the worn down weapons of the Detlas Barracks. The starting npc is called Barac. This part introduces weaponsmithing and woodworking.
Power of words is a level 10 quest where you meet up with a dude in the Nivla village called Master Veb, who claims to be a powerful mage. He tasks you to make a scroll with an ingredient he gives you, and then use it to fight off a powerful mob in a cave below him. The mob is level 100, but the buffs from the scroll basically makes you invincible and allow you to one shot the mob. The scrolls buffs immediately go away after defeating the mob, and only affects said mob. This quest introduces scribing.
The quest would be slightly changed. The assistant would also need you to get 2 gudgeon oil and 1 wheat grains along with the mushrooms, and then craft them at a alchemy station. This part introduces alchemy.
    That's it! Criticism is appreciated.

Well the scroll can only affect the level 100 mob, so it can't be used to one shot the Eye or something.

I like this idea-- I definitely think it'd be helpful to have some form of a more in-depth tutorial for profs. But I would like to add to this idea-- perhaps there could be more profs quests on top of the introductions? Not a ton, maybe like 1 every 10 prof lvls or something (at least for the gathering profs). Reason being that I personally think doing the profs can be grind-y, and would be a lot more fun if there were some quests here and there to make lvling more interesting and rewarding.

Perhaps after finishing the intro quests, a tradesman/professional would take notice that the player is meddling with their craft. They'd agree to let the player be their apprentice if they show that they want to pursue said prof (which would be done by getting to lvl 10 in relevant profs). By obtaining this requirement, a quest could start where a professional (i.e. a fisherman/weaponsmith/cook or something) would allow the player to become their apprentice and they'd teach the player a few more things about the craft. Every 10 levels the player would be called back to do a task, prove their skill, and show off their improvement by using the prof skills to make things for NPC's (apprentice for a cook might have to run a small restaurant by gathering ingredients and cooking them for customers, a weaponsmith might have to gather and create weapons with specific enhancements for dwarves or soldiers, a fisherman's apprentice might have to run a sushi shop, etc.) I think that'd be interesting
