Priest (or Cleric/bishop) Class Idea

    First of all if the Priest class became a thing the mage heal should (imo) be either nerfed or replaced with a cool mobbing skill (such as an arcane missile/chain lightning/some type of elemental storm, but these are just some off the head ideas), with the addition of a priest mages should be able to become the multi-target/AoE archer (imo).I'm also not too sure of many of the buffs to use with minecraft as the platform its sort of limited and wouldn't be too cool if its just taking what other classes can do, but its still an idea. If you couldn't tell everything is imo (or "in my opinion")

    Class: Priest
    Role: Support, providing their party's members with health and buffs (whilst still being able to dish out some dps)
    Weapon: Mace (possibly a disk/book any magic catalyst but maces seem cooler, weapon could be based on element type)
    Skills:

    (Values are not set at all (for Divine Blessing))
    Divine Blessing
    Description: The priest channels their holy energy into allies to regenerate their health. The effect lingers for a couple of seconds.

    Grade 1
    Mana: 8
    Heal: 15%

    Grade 2
    Mana: 7
    Heal: 40%
    + Purification, remove all negative effects and fire (from the wynncraft wiki)

    Grade 3
    Mana: 6
    Heal: 75%
    + Arcane Barrier, whilst casting Divine Blessing you set up an Arcane Barrier, the barrier will dissipate upon the casting of Divine Blessing ends (which is pretty much arrow shield with very low damage, or just use pulse)

    Celestial Blink
    Description: The priest focuses their holy energy to blink forward.
    ( I thought about it and a blink where's if you meet a certain requirement you can teleport back to your original location may work, but of course I have no idea what the limits are in terms of what the WC team can do with spells)

    Grade 1
    Mana: x

    Grade 2
    Mana: x
    +Heavenly Protection, whilst blinking you cast powerful defense magic and lingers for a few seconds after the blink.

    Grade 3
    Mana: x
    +Spiritual Grace, grants nearby allies (in the path of the blink) health and/or a buff (tbd)

    Angelic Symbol

    Description: The priest sends out a burst of divine energy to harm enemies around the Priest. (AoE spell)

    Grade 1
    Mana: x
    Damage: x%

    Grade 2
    Mana: x
    Damage: x%
    +Affinity Surge, the range of Angelic Symbol is increased and mobs that are hit by Angelic Symbol now get slowness I or II (tbd)

    Grade 3
    Mana: x
    Damage: x%
    + Minor Blessing, enchant nearby allies with a short burst of x (tbd)

    Holy Smite
    Description: The priest "prays" (or request/ask, cause we're religion friendly here) to their respective deity to summon a storm of holy energy bolts in front of the priest.

    Grade 1
    Mana: x
    Damage: x%

    Grade 2
    Mana: x
    Damage: x%
    +Advanced Response, your "prayers" are answered further and enhance you and your allies with x (tbd)


    Grade 3
    Mana: x
    Damage: x%
    +Last Resort, pushing yourself to your limits you emit one last surge (in front of you) of energy dealing x damage

    Well that is all I have for now, if you have any further suggestions to add onto this please feel free to mention it (especially on the skill/upgrade names, aswell the Vip/Vip+ version names) and give your feed back on the general idea, Salted has mentioned the idea of nerfing heal so I decided to make this real quick (as in the idea of making mage the damage support and Priest the buff support). I also couldn't think of some buffs/mana/damage values so you can also feel free to leave your suggestions on those (I don't plan to update this too often just wanted to make it)

    While I'm on the topic would sub-classes not be cool? (irrelevant to the Priest idea)

    Change its movement spell. Its pretty much teleport. Maybe make it so its like a reverse escape, propelled high up, and a bit foreward.

    Not really, I mean the class focuses on giving out buffs plus if this class was even considered to be added mage heal would get nerfed or hopefully replaced. The 3rd spell is an AoE around the player and the 4th is a cc skill in front of the player and all skills have the ability to buff allies.

    See, I love how people are complaining about the Assassin so much but don't even care that the mage now heals massive portions of health and cures fire.
    As for the suggestion itself, the second spell sounds identical to Teleport.

    Well its a more magic/"holy energy" based class I've thought of a reverse escape but I can't find a good reason to have a magic centered class use it. (Make a name and explanation maybe something complimenting the upgrades and I'll change it ^_^)

    Well I was going for Priest but I was more using cleric as an alternate name (what would a cleric use, master meric? 0.o)

    -Mages do as much (more in some cases) damage as my archer and they can heal themselves .-.
    -Assassins still cool just relys a lot less on multihit now
    -Yeah couldn't really think of one, if anyone makes a good suggestion or if I think of something I'll change it

    Also for the Blink spell it doesn't do damage it gives a buff xD
    Taking suggestions for better Divine Blessing mechanics and a replacement for Blink

    And I also think you should change the transportation spell. I know it's hard to find new ideas for the transport spell since all the ideas have been used for the other classes. A spell in replacement for it where you teleport anywhere in a radius.
    The weapon should be a Hoe or Book like you said. Maybe Books like you said since hoes might be too similar to the Mage's staff.
    Other than that, I love your idea of a Cleric/Priest.

    I'm sorry for not going into further details earlier but I'll explain how this is in no way an exact mage copy or a mage/archer copy.
    First of all the heal spell, if the priest was to be added the mage heal spell would be nerfed or replaced (with a cool attack spell) but the idea being a priest the heal spell is essentail, salted has also mentioned finding a way to Nerf heal but it still has to be usefull, with the addition of the priest mage heal could go under these change. Knowing the community someone will come up with a better heal spell (ex: how it works, like a regen or a scaling heal)
    Now blink, movement spells are kinda hard to think of the only thing making blink unique from teleport is it replaces the slash upgrade with a Allie/player buff it also makes the player almost immune to many forms of damage during the blink
    So here the part where I get confused, this may be a lack of communication or reading on one of our parts, but this is were you can't say the priest is an exact copy of mage or archer maybe the short description we sent enough to describe this to you guys but Angelic Symbol is NOT a projectile in no way was it meant to be. Angelic Symbol is a AoE (area of effect) spell its AoE is based around where the player cast, I'm not yet sure if it should follow the player but for now its just a simple AoE spell that provides minor damage and buff to allies/caster
    Its the same case with Holy Smite, this spell is a cc (crowd control) spell that is summoned in front of the priest, the purpose of it is to deal damage whilst being able to give a small buff, its similar to a blizzard spell in some ways but is not (exactly) like ice snake or arrow shield.
    Now for the class in general most of its spells have a way to give out a buff, I've already described the ways its different from our current classes, also for future reference anyone reading this if you claim for this class to be an exact copy I would appreciate you going into depth of why it is so. ^_^

    Not a bad idea, but how would you control it? Becuase with the current teleport you can already teleport anywhere in a radius (in a way) :P

    Allow me to elaborate more on Holy Smite its more like a storm of holy energy that rains on the enemy, no one has mentioned this yet but it can be very similar to war scream, but its not a projectile :) (also if there aren't enough buffs for the spells to add why not do a minor heal? :P)

    Still mages shouldn't be able to deal that much damage and heal (imo) it's either some damge or heal (again imo)

    but you don't have to replace Mage heal, it would always be possible to just make it less reliable than Divine Blessing, or have one of them work differently but end up accomplishing the same goal.
