World Powder Incenses

kinda self explanatory

basically,
with a new crafting recipe or a villager trade with any powder and a few emeralds, burning incense would give you its powder effect for any weapon in your inventory in contrast to permanently being applied to one
as a drawback, its effect would only last for a limited time; let's say, 10-20 minutes

thats all

this was kinda lazily built and the thought randomly hit me anyways, so i don't think i should deserve likes for this post

in terms of diversity across incense types, yeah, but i wouldnt think more than two of the same type of incense would work

But what about he same type? Could you stack a tier 1 water incense 6 times give it tier 6 abilities?

but, consider the following:
in case of someone wanting to stack powder levels with a whole bunch of weak powders, there would be yet another crafting/trading system
crafting two powders of the same tier creates the same type of powder one tier higher
i.e. crafting two T1 powders makes one T2 powder

this way,

1 + 1 = 2
2 + 2 = 3
3 + 3 = 4
4 + 4 = 5
5 + 5 = 6
et cetera, et cetera​

if an upgrading system like this was in wynncraft, then not only could people make use of lower tier powders, but in order to do so it would be very taxing and wouldn't just cost you six cheap T1's for a T6 ability

oh, and about the graph,
a T6 powder would cost 128 T1 powders

I'm starting to think this would be a little too similar to potions…

 

except i have no idea what the deal is with pot because i don't ever read the wynncraft changelogs if anything wynncraft related at all
so if someone could point me in the right direction?

 

Stat Potions give you increased Strength/Dexterity/Defense/Intelligence/Agility for a duration of time, which in turn gives you more Elemental Damage/Defense and base attack power/critical hit chance/damage reduction/mana cost reduction/dodge chance temporarily.

 

That would be overpowered. You would be able to give yourself quite a big damage buff for 10-20 minutes, much longer than the stat potions.

 

then how about another debuff?

putting on two powders of the same tier give their normal dose of damage, sure, but there's no special effect in the package

 

They also have secondary effects relating to their stat point. Defense is +Health, Air is +Walk Speed, I don't know about the rest.

lets say you smoke some earth powder aka weed
now, weed isn't exactly the healthiest thing for ur body right
so u get ur +str BUT you also get a -walkspeed or -agi cuz earth is stereotypicall weak to air (i think)
