What would be known as the most hated dungeon in Wynncraft? Looking at this, I'd say there are 2 (one kinda) candidates that are often brought up, being Underworld Crypt and Ice Barrows. Underworld Crypt has cool mechanics, but all of them revolve around waiting for a timer to end, which slows down gameplay considerably. Ice Barrows also has some mechanics that are ok, but they are mostly waiting, too repetitive, or the rooms can just be unfair. However, one dungeon I'd say is the most unianimously hated one is Lost Sanctuary. I have never seen a person who viewed this dungeon favorably, and regardedly so. The rooms are usually things that have been done to death before in other dungeons, and that's basically it. Just run fast, grinding times 3, parkour, and then the boss. At least's that's good right? Well, it is if you like token grinding, cuz that's literally all the boss is. It's stale, it's repetitive. And I've made a potential rework for this, found in the spoiler below.

    Lost Sanctuary
    Fighting fire with fire...
    • ???: Ah, perfect timing. I needed to test my experiments on...
    • Garoth: You must know exactly who I am... The last person who was awakened by the portal.
At the start of the Dungeon, you will walk through the start until you get ambushed by several Mogroths. Kill the Alpha Mogroth to progress.

    Bowman Mogroth
    Level: 25
    HP: 140
    AI: Ranged
    Elemental Stats:
    • Damages: Air

    Rabid Mogroth
    Level: 25
    HP: 175
    AI: Berserk

    Alpha Mogroth
    Level: 27
    HP: 300
    AI: Melee
    Abilities: Flamethrower
    Elemental Stats:
    • Weaknesses: Water
    • Damages: Fire
    • Defenses: Fire, Earth
    • Garoth: Hm. It seems those might need a few more genetic modifications. Thank you for bringing that to my attention.
After you kill the Alpha Mogroth, you will then see a giant walkway that is on top of trees. After you walk on it for a bit, you will turn around and see a Vulcan Glider (NPC) glide from one side of the room to the other, causing the leaves to burn quickly. A message will appear in the middle of your screen saying that you should run. If you fail to outrun the flames, you will get sent back to the part where the flames start. Once you get to the end, you will then climb down a tree stump, being ambushed by several Infant Vulcan Gliders along the way.

    Infant Vulcan Glider
    Level: 23
    HP: 125
    AI: Melee (Fast)
    Elemental Defenses: Fire
    • Garoth: Those Vulcan Gliders seem to have great potential. I’ll keep that in mind... Go on, continue.
    • That Primed Creeper could be used to explode your way through the Sanctuary... You’ll have to find a way to lure it to a weak point.
When you land at the bottom of the tree stump, you will land in an area shaped like a +. A Primed Creeper NPC will appear before fleeing. A hologram will then appear saying the following:
    FORAGE!
Look for items that can be used to lure the Primed Creeper to the weak point.
    [x/5 Fragrant Drupes]
    [x/1 Swampy Goo]
    [x/1 Iron Pebble]
A hologram will say the following:
    HUNT!
Search for the Flora Drupes with a green name.
Avoid the ones with a yellow name!
In the segment you enter from, there will be several ‘Flora Drupe’ mobs hanging from the trees. The ones you should kill should be the ones with a Green name. Yellow ones will also spawn, but if you kill those, then you will get ambushed by a Vulcan Glider.

You can also left-click the trees to shake down the mobs on that tree, which will drop all the Flora Drupes but also drop down the Vulcan Gliders, although they will become Damaged Vulcan Gliders.

You need to gather 5 Fragrant Drupes, which will be marked in chat by it saying: “[x/5] Fragrant Drupes Gathered”.

A hologram will say the following:
    PARKOUR!
Jump to the other side of the lake to get Swampy Goo.
Watch out for the Hungry Alligators!
The Lake Habitat will be a parkour section with moving rafts. Several Hungry Alligators will also be in the lake, and at the end of the parkour is a Swampy Goo. However, once you get to the end, the Hungry Alligators will then destroy all the rafts, and you have to get back by jumping on logs. However, some logs will appear bumpier (maybe toss some mob heads on there ig), and these are Hungry Alligators. Jumping on one will send you back and it will also appear as a hostile mob.

    HP: 75
    AI: Crawl
    Elemental Stats:
    • Weaknesses: Thunder
    • Damages: Water, Earth
    • Defenses: Water
Once you get to the end you go to the center and then put the Swampy Goo there. If you fall into the water when coming back from the lake habitat you still get to keep the Swampy Goo, but you get put back at the beginning.
A hologram will say the following:
    CLIMB!
Scale the top of the cliff to get an Iron Pebble.
    Watch out for obstacles!
The trip up will be a short parkour course, although some platforms will have a rockslide on them, making you act quicker. Some Territorial Soarers will also fly by at you, pushing you back if you get in their path. If you provoke a Territorial Soarer again, it will become a mob you have to fight.

    Territorial Soarer
    Level: 24
    HP: 100
    AI: Jumper
    Elemental Stats:
    • Damages: Air
When you get to the top, you will receive an Iron Pebble. However, a rockslide will destroy the path down, so instead you’ll have to push a nest to get down safely. However, after you’ve done that, a Mother Soarer will appear, and you have to fight it before you can land down. Several Newly-Hatched Soarers will also spawn too throughout the fight.

    Newly-Hatched Soarer

After you’ve gathered all the needed items, you then craft a Creeper Trap. Place it down where it says to. A countdown of 45 seconds will start, and several mobs will appear.

Death Carinsky: Spawns in the last 15 seconds. This serves as an obstacle to keep you on your toes and is not meant to be fought.

Molten Bovine: Reference to the lava cow from the animal dungeon.

Armored Trammor: A tankier enemy. Added cuz it's in ls currently.

Chameleons: These are kinda already in the game, but these are here to foreshadow what Garoth's fight will look like. Only 3 will spawn throughout the timer at the 30-second mark.

At the end of the countdown, the Primed Creeper will appear, and will consume the trap, causing it to explode, revealing the penultimate room of the dungeon.
    • Garoth: Ah... One of the last few Creepers alive, and you used it like it was spare change...
    • Garoth: Thousands used to live here, you know. They were great bases for my genetic experiments, but I believe they no longer serve a purpose here, do they?
    • Garoth: After all, my experiments have reduced their population, and I've already sequenced their genome.
Room 3 is a tunnel to the boss room filled with Serpat Vulgaris (just normal creepers).

    • Garoth: It seems you have tested the defenses of my armies to their limits... I can’t wait to find yours!
    Garoth
    Bane of Nature
Garoth’s fight will start off with him not looking like a lizard, but instead appearing as a heavily Corrupted human, like Bak’al, but even more Corrupted. Garoth’s main HP will be more of a percentage that is carried over as you fight him. Several ‘Experiment’ mobs will also spawn.

Garoth's second 'phase' will begin once he's at 2,500 HP.
    • Garoth: Now THIS is what I expected from you! You will be my most rewarding prey yet!
To summarize the second phase, his fight is basically fighting a Ritualist. He has three states he can go to: Lizard, Bear, or Wolf. Lizard is more attack oriented, although it is much weaker defensively. Bear is a lot tankier but is slower. Wolf is agile but doesn’t do high damage.

He will swap states based on how the player acts- If the player is close to him, he will become the Lizard when the player becomes vulnerable, becomes Bear when the player will damage him heavily, and Wolf if the player is far away from him or if he needs to escape. The fight ends when Garoth’s HP is at 0 in any of the phases.

The HP for Garoth’s phases will be percentage based. As an example: You are fighting the Lizard phase as it gets at 800 HP (50% of his HP in Lizard form), when he turns into the Bear phase, his HP will be at 1,650 HP (75% of his HP in Bear form).

Also random thing I just wanted to point out here, the wolf version of Garoth would be better if it was a custom model to help it feel more unique. That is all.

After you reach the end, you put the Swampy Goo where it says to.
A hologram will appear with the following text:

The purposes of the mobs remain the same as their counterparts in LS. However, all the chameleons can becoming Reaping Carinskies if they went through all their phases. This is to provide an extra challenge for CLS, and to also hint towards the big 'twist' in Corrupted Garoth's fight.

At the end of the countdown, the Primed Creeper will appear. However, it will be consumed by a maroon sludge before becoming an Immolated Primed Creeper. It must be slain to proceed.

    • Corrupted Garoth: Nothing more than pure s̸͇͍̆̀a̶͓͝v̵͎̈͘ä̷̫g̵͇͇̽ë̵͉́̈́r̸̮͚̋y̸͔͔̎͗ for them. Their emot̶͚̀i̴̧̟͝ons̸̛͉̎ hold them back from true greatness.
You proceed halfway through the room, encountering some Ancient Immolated Creepers along the way, until you reach the halfway segment.

    Corrupted Garoth
    Abomination of Life

Corrupted Garoth’s fight will start relatively the same as his non-corrupted fight. He will look somewhat similar to his previous human form in LS, though even more corrupted. However, his ‘Ritualist’ phase begins once 10% of his HP has been dealt to him as damage. Several Failed Experiment mobs will also spawn throughout the fight.

    Corrupted Garoth (Main Form)
    Level: 90 / 100 / 125
    HP: 250000 / 400000 / 550000
    AI: Melee
    Abilities: Heavy Charge
    Elemental Stats:

    • Damages: Fire, Earth
    • Defenses: Fire
    Failed Experiment
    Level: 85 / 95 / 120
    HP: 15000 / 25000 / 35000
    AI: Crawl
    Abilities: Heavy Charge, Self-Destruct
    Elemental Stats:

Corrupted Garoth, like his non-corrupted counterpart, has three states he can go to: Lizard, Bear, or Wolf.

The HP for Corrupted Garoth’s phases will be percentage based. As an example:
You are fighting the Lizard phase as it gets at 144,000 HP (80% of his HP in Lizard form at the 1st level interval), when he turns into the Bear phase, his HP will be at 216,000 HP (80% of his HP in Bear form at the 1st level interval).

    Corrupted Garoth (Lizard)
    Level: 90 / 100 / 125
    HP: 180000 / 292500 / 427500
    AI: Melee
Abilities: Heavy Charge, Heavy Flamethrower, Meteor, Heavy Explosion
    Elemental Stats:

    • Weaknesses: Water
    • Damages: Fire, Thunder
    • Defenses: Fire, Air

    Corrupted Garoth (Bear)
    Level: 90 / 100 / 125
    HP: 270000 / 495000 / 675000
    AI: Crawl
    Abilities: Meteor, Heavy Charge
    Elemental Stats:

    • Damages: Fire, Earth
    • Defenses: Fire, Air, Earth
    Corrupted Garoth (Wolf)
    Level: 90 / 100 / 125
    HP: 225000 / 360000 / 495000
    AI: Jumper
Abilities: Heavy Charge, Heavy Vanish, Heavy Teleport
    Elemental Stats:

    • Weaknesses: Fire
    • Damages: Air, Thunder
    • Defenses: Air
Once Corrupted Garoth is at 30% of his HP, several explosions will come off of him as he then turns into a chimaeric abomination, having all the positive perks of his previous states. He will also no longer have a percentage-based HP.
    • Corrupted Garoth: AARRWOOOSSS!! Y̷̖̗̎̀O̶͇͐͛U̴̠̦̎.̸̗͔̃.̴̺̅͠.̵̹̻̑ ̷̫̩̌I̸͕̫̍'̵̢͌̅͜L̶̳̖͐L̵͖̿́͜ ̵͉͊S̷̰̘͛A̶͓͚̒V̵̨̋Ó̵̠̪̀R̸̟̚ ̵̻͍̑͑Y̸̠͒O̷̩͊̚Ū̸̘͘R̶̥̦̃ ̶̛̹̱D̵͙͇̾̚E̸̮̫̊Ṁ̶̰I̵̟͑̓Ṣ̴́Ë̷̹̱̽!̷̧͌
    Corrupted Garoth (Abomination)
    Level: 90 / 100 / 125
    HP: 90000 / 165000 / 225000
    AI: Jumper
Abilities: Heavy Charge, Heavy Flamethrower, Meteor, Heavy Explosion, Heavy Vanish, Heavy Teleport
    Elemental Stats:

    • Weaknesses: Water
    • Damages: Fire, Air, Earth, Thunder
    • Defenses: Fire, Air, Earth
The fight ends once Corrupted Garoth’s HP is at 0.

    QnA's are fun:

    This dungeon is kinda short.
Yes, kinda. The main bulk of it is in room 2 though.

Why is room 3 so bland?
Mainly cuz I was running out of ideas so eh. I actually don't really mind 'filler rooms' if they're just transitions. However, cls's room 3 has more content in it. (it also contains a reference to kirbo and the forgor land)
Consuming Experiment ID-W13 is a reference to Fecto Forgo, also known as Specimen ID-F86 in that game. At the climax it decides it needs to consume everything until it captures Elfilin. F86 also references something in the name. F is for the name (Fecto or Forgo), while 86 is a common number seen in Kirby games, because it is a pun on the developer, HAL's name, as 86 in Japanese (sounds like ha-ru) sounds like how HAL would be pronounced in Japanese. W13's 2 components are W being Wynncraft (duh) and 13 is a reference to when the server was launched- 2013.

    Is Garoth a furry?
As per the definition of a human being an enthusiast about anthropomorphic animals, yes. Quite literally. So much so he took it upon himself.

    Alright and that's a wrap.

The only thing I don't like about Lost Sanctuary is 1. The parkour that doesn't have any checkpoints for the 1 section and 2. The boss fight layout.
Other than that, it's fine; the tokens are a bit repetitive but not too bad honestly, the soundtrack bops, and the lore is pretty cool I guess. It's just really out of the way and in a weird spot for its level.

Looks good but a few questions
When you say the chameleons become another chameleon, is this on death or something like a spell?

Might want to decrease their health if that’s the case.
Other than that very good suggestion, and nice forgor land reference.

I feel like they're pretty fair at those levels. I can see why they might be a bit too high though.

Honestly feels like it would work great in the game, the mechanics are creative and feel much better than the current lost sanctuary.
Personally I don't like the genetic stuff though, as it doesn't fit in with Wynncraft being a fantasy server and doesn't really add anything to the dialogue.

Fair point. The main reason why I shifted the current character of Garoth from being a weird genocidal maniac to being a scientist experimenting on himself to becoming the ultimate life form is bc that fits the theme a lot better and adds to the role of him being a scientist. If I had to say how Garoth would have genetically modified stuff it would be through selective breeding, and Garoth could have performed magicks on himself to alter his DNA, which could be revealed through Dungeon Secrets when they are added. Slykaar also does this, but I feel like Garoth's should be more primitive as Slykaar had a lot more knowledge on stuff like Dern and how to create dimensions, as well as him possessing vials of DNA for various jungle creatures.
