Community Event Pot Farmers!

Asked a mod and he told me that the drops are equal as killing something so loot bonus should affect pots. @JaydonTheWarrior since lb not makes only the quantity more but also the quality of the items it should affect pot drops :D

It was already tested that lb doesn't affect loot drops. Nonetheless, I could test it out again with some more data, but I want to focus on stealing first.

 

Loot bonus doesn't affect the quality of any drop or loot chest, it simply makes items in general drop more often.
Loot bonus only reduces the chance you get nothing from a drop, not actually your chance of getting a specific tier, intern this tends to raise the chance of you getting higher tiers, but it depends on what the mob can drop. As far as I know, a mod wouldn't actually know this information.

most items with stealing already have loot bonus anyway so i don't think it would matter that much (unless you're going for crafted gear)

I guess I will report my findings of a small, unbalanced data set of 50 + 2 (totaling 8750 + 70 pots):

• Stealing DOES play a role in affecting item drops.
  • At 100% stealing, there is a 0.5% chance of getting an item per pot.
• Stealing DOES NOT play a role in affecting emerald drops.
  • There is about a 16.5% chance of getting an emerald per pot.
• The event at which whether you get an emerald is separate than whether you get an item. Meaning you could get an emerald AND an item in 1 pot.
  • You only get 1 emerald if the emerald event happens.
  • It is unclear whether you could get more than 1 item per pot but I doubt it.
• Could loot bonus play a role? Doesn't seem like it (anecdotally) as confirmed previously.

Looks like an interesting challenge. Imagine doing hardcore on it.

Tip: Somehow yeet your way to the Old Farmer house near Bremminglar and there's 50+ pots around there.

I can't be 100% certain, but I'm pretty sure I recently got two items from a single pot. It might have been another nearby pot though.
