Do not make stealing builds over 100%. Here's even more proof that >100% stealing still yields the same amount of loot as 100%. Build used was 193% stealing.

Psst... farming pots is a great way to get Vawards... Including the pants from this video, I got 4 so far in about 1.5-2 hours.

Also I am having second thoughts on whether stealing ACTUALLY affects pot drop rates...

 

How many legends did u get in total? Also really nice info! I'm gonna get one of these builds just for vawards

 

So far my total is 10, 4 of which is not shown in my videos.

 

I have the feeling looting and stealing doesn't affect pots... But how can we 100% know?

Regarding stealing, it should be relatively straightforward to come up with a p value.

 

How do you suppose we collect data on this then? I'm thinking to record the amount of emeralds and loot you get every 5 rounds. Not sure how to quantify the unique loot like rares and legendaries. Then from there 2-sample t-test.

Use 0% and 100%. For now I suppose I'll collect the data for 100% and maybe others can do 0% unless you have a build with exactly 100%. Should >100% be considered as the same as 100%? We can record this I suppose and then aggregate it to 100% if needed.

We should expect that you get less emeralds and more of the unique loot and such for ~100% stealing, or that way more emeralds and loot drop. If p is significant, then one of those are true. If p is not significant, then stealing does not play a role in affecting loot rates.

 

I would expect an overall increase in drops in general with more stealing, but yeah that sounds like a good methodology to me.

I am doing data collection on whether stealing actually affects loot drops from pots as I have some doubts on it. I would love it if anyone could fill out this form for me on their loot drop rates. Please fill out this form once every 5 rounds.

Notes:
Only perform this data collection in the Old Farmer's House
Round = breaking all the pots INSIDE the Old Farmer's House once
Avoid collecting emeralds obtained from the Old Farmer NPC
Some emeralds may fly outside the house, check outside if any did
