Well at least we know the rules now.
Yes, I do believe the prices will drop but as of now, it stays within the range if 48 - 75

The reasons we don't allow selling old items for more are:
- It's unfair to people who weren't around or weren't lucky enough to get the item when it was still ingame
- The fact that they weren't updated to have the negative mana regen is a bug and is likely to be fixed in the future, and anyone who paid more for an old version will have been scammed.
- The item was never intended to exist, which makes it a glitched item. And as with any other glitched item, the stance is that you either can't sell it at all, or have to sell it for the same amount you'd sell a normal version of the same item, in the case of some items such as this one.

And I won't accept "he just wanted to pay me an extra stack for a 16LE ring that just happened to be old!" as an excuse. ;D

 

Assuming everyone is telling the truth:
9 People have 1 OC = 9 Total
8 People have 2 OC = 16 Total
11 People have at least 3 = Min Total of 33
9 + 16 + 33 = 58 Old Concentrations at minimum

I should have done the poll differently such as adding more number, but eh.

But 48-75LE each? That's insane.

I have a request: Please remove the "It's unfair to people who weren't around or weren't lucky enough to get the item when it was still ingame". I understand everything else, I just think that saying that its' unfair is one of the stupidest and most contradictory logic to what goes on in wynn that I have seen. Take, for instance, Snowdrift, the weapon that was only obtainable during the Christmas fair. It is considered a viable Nirvana substitute, and the price for them is, when they are sold, more than a stack in my experience. That gives a huge advantage to people who were active throughout the Christmas month, because they were able to get the weapon and either use it or sell it.

 

I got mine for free from a noob who says he found it on the ground.

 

So that means Santa items are unfair????

 

Snowdrift should be purchasable from the merchants at Santa island, no?

Those were intentionally added as collectibles and are intended to not be obtainable again, which is different from concentration which was not intended to have two versions and will likely be fixed eventually.

Last time i checked the weapon merchant there unfortunately didnt sell it ;-;

 

They dont sell them for more because they're old, they sell them for more because they are rare and exceptionally better

 

It wasn't intended to be rare or better than the current version, which is why they aren't allowed to be sold. That's what I meant by "old".

This is likely an oversight. I'll see if it can be added.

 

If you force people to charge the price of the new conc, which is worth less because of substitutes like moon pool, then isn't it unfair to people who bought old concs when they were worth more and when those people had to pay more? If they want to change builds and resell them now, they are forced to lose money. The updated stats came without warning.

 

The people who bought the old concs at higher prices should have know it was going to eventually be patched (I assume). That seems to be the reasoning.
