i played too much EU4 and noticed it looked like south italy

 

The people of Corkus say Mo'in, not Moin

Apparently it's just a stylistic change, though I still think it makes sense for it be short-form for morning, like mornin'

 

Uh.... kind of. Takes a while to notice.
But with the map, no, not really.

Hours of EU4 and just staring at maps. I see the shapes of geographical areas everywhere, it is actually quite scary.

You can compare the corkus "patriots" to Italian nationalists in this case.
