I actually ended up having to beat him twice because of something dumb, but I only used 15ish revives the first time, and like 7 the second.

Yeah "not hard" constitutes as using three, four revives max, and being able to not even use any if you play it right.
Also ash greninja can and should be considered a legendary, as it has higher stats than all event legendaries, Zygarde 50%, etc.

Working on my comp team rn, just came across this little factoid.
If Aerodactyl could larn head smash to take advantage of his rock head ability, it could do a whopping 225 damage (25 less than explosion) without any repurcussions.

I did a defense oriented Cloyster and combo'd it with an Audino/Alomanola. (Heal Pulse lolololololol)

 

Serene Grace Togekiss with choice scarf and air slash.
After anything that can paralyze.
Flinch most of the time to the tune of 65(?) damage.
Also, even if they don't flinch, they still have paralysis.

throw a focus sash on it

use endeavour cos ur starly gon get 1 shot.

Also, any recommendations of which level to get an Alakazam? I just got a New 3DS XL for Xmas, so I can do it anytime.

id say evolve the kadabra at 29 if you're willing to wait that long, at 28 it'll be able to learn psybeam which will probably be the best psychic move it'll have for awhile unless you teach it something with a tm, like psychic

 

Finished the game and beat the alola dex for be shiny charm, have about 135 hours and beat the E4 & champion with:
Incineroar
Solagaleo
Umbreon
Wishiwashi
Exegguator
Crobat.

Right now working on breeding and leveling up some island scan mons, including a Honedge i got from GTS, if you need a mon for he location i can provide a QR code to scan and help you with that.
