Pokemon Sun And Moon Reactions *spoilers*

As someone that has completed a nuzlocke of the game with a team insanely over leveled at the end I think I found the best way to level. Just keep feeding your Pokemon beand and get the free rare candy.

Y-you really didn't need to grind for that if you had a good team... I never lost a single battle in the entire game... the closest I got was the battle against (Spoilers for people who haven't played the game) Kukui, and the battle against Lusamine the second time around. And even then... I don't understand how you had to grind for it... I went into the elite four with high 40s or so and I came out the Champion...

 

Only battle I ever lost was against Lurantis because I wasn't prepared for its Castform ally. Went in to the E4 with Decidueye, Vikavolt, Salazzle, Sandslash, Lycanroc, and Kommo-o, all level 53-56. The E4 was challenging, definitely, but I didn't have to grind at all for it.

 

I posted my team on my Profile... and tbh, I had little to no issues in the Elite four except Kukui...

Literally my end team was:
Primarina
Lunala (Yes, I get it I used a legend, however the ghost type E4 gave me issues with it, and I used it for emergencies only)
Oricorio-Fire
Kommo-o
Vikavolt
And Salazzle

All of them were high 40s going into the E4 except Lunala

 

I think this is the game in which using the legendary is easily the most justified, given... well, you know.

 

Also... is it just me... or is the Champion battle music (defending title, or earning title) is probably one of THE MOST FITTING music tracks in the whole series? It makes me think about how this is the final boss of 20 years worth of pokemon...

Think about it... pokemon Sun and Moon are the end product of a 20 year life cycle so far... and Kukui is the final boss of that 20 years.

And the music seems to have hints of every generation of pokemon in it, suprisingly enough.

I managed to catch Necrozma in a beastball. I'm so pleased =P

 

I just caught Lunala and beat Gladion at the base of Mt. Lanakila. I must say that I absolutely LOVE Gladion's character, reminds me a bit of the rival in G/S/C/HG/SS. Pokemon definitely needs more characters like them.

Lots of fun but the cutscenes omg too many! especially on the first island (which I nicknamed tutorial island)
And it was awesome to have an difficult elite 4 and champion again

been trying to find bagon for a hour on route 3 to chain for a level 10 salamence
on another note, this game is fucking hard with totem mimikyu play rough spam and i was also stupid enough to use Z move with disguise still on

 

A. Good news, Mimikyu is prolly the hardest totem after lurantis
B. Bad news, the elite four/champion is tough. You literally cannot mess anything up.

The Elite Four was easy for me, but it depends very strongly on how good your team is balanced. My Team at the time of the final showdown against the champion was this :

Now, I'm very weak against this guy , so needless to say, I had the boost the shit out of Mudsdale's Attack (x2) and Special Defense (x2), then wait for the other pokemons to max out Stamina to be able to withstand and his attacks and outlive him.
So that was pretty great ^_^

I'm also very disappointed by the final battle arena of this game and the outright shame that replaced the PSS, but otherwise, great game

I tried to get a pokemon to counter every pokemon that the champion had
And then i used Minior to sweep half of his team

Will agree that champion (he's not even the champion, the league was just built) is hard, but only because of that Inceneroar (guessing it changes based on starter tho.) The trick to beating Inceneroar is to trick it into using outrage by sending in a dragon type, then switch to a tank, because your dragon pokemon is gonna die, then take advantage of confusion, and maybe paralyze it.

And Mimikyu was meh, as long as you aren't like Ash and have 6 pokémon by then, you should be good.
Lurantis was easily the hardest totem, with its fucking synthesis and little minions, but synthesis made me wanna cry.

 

Or, y'know, just use a wishiwashi

 

Ugh, champion was a pain. When I went the first time, lost to the Hala because all my pokemon were underlevelled as heck. Then I went for a rematch after grinding in Poni Canyon for an hour or two. Ended up beating the 4 and champion really fast. Then my game crashed during the post-beating the game crap, and my save sent me back to Poni Canyon >.>
