Please Help - Uncontrollable Server Lag

in Wynncraft or other games/servers? couldn't understand you a bit

 

This isn't the server's problem, there is some issue with my connection to my server. If any of you people took the time to read my previous posts you would see my friend with the same ISP has a perfect connection.

Well um... To be honest I've never seen you ever... Maybe reference that in this post. Well ok then, I would reccomend optifine, turning your tender and smooth lighting to low, graphics to fast, and then buy buy buy loads sonic gotta go fast computers

 

Just tried this, didn't improve anything. And yes, I did everything fully.

I have repeated at least 6 times now this is NOT an FPS issue. It is server connectivity. Do you know the difference?

 

Actually I am currently drunk on lemonade, and I'm assuming this is another Fix Lag thread so..... *hiccup* gucci gumdrops.


Also no I've never heard of server connectivity nor someone making a thread about that issue

I understand that you can't just magically fix all my problems, but something has to be able to be fixed. On other networks the server doesn't lag at all, even though they are much worse speed than mine. I will restate this for the 11 millionth time, this ONLY happens on Wynn on MY HOME network.

 

Welp I'm not good at this I just make dank memes. Id ask a mod or report it to Github

 

If you have said it's your connection a million times, work on the WiFi, not just be lazy on the forums talking.

No, really though, thanks for your help, I am just really frustrated right now because I have tried all logical solutions to this problem I can think of to no avail.

How am I being lazy? I told you, this problem only happens for this particular server. I have done everything that I can that seems logical to me to do. Do you have any suggestions? If not, I don't require you on this forum post. What am I doing wrong in asking for assistance on an issue I don't understand the cause for?

I know that you have a problem and need assistance, but don't just tell that you've done this or this has happened or your friend etc. Do it twice or three times, try more things. Forums or gitHub isn't the only things to fix this. If you want, I can delete all my posts and leave this thread, or post more and try to give advice.

 

Okay so really stupid question, but at this point I am stumped so I am willing to suggest anything.
I know it's not FPS lag, but what version are you running and is it modded?

 

I have tried 1.10.2, 1.8.9, but I usually run 1.8.9 Optifine.

 

Try just regular 1.8.9

 

Even though your friend has the same internet and stuff, this still sounds like an internet problem (ive had experience :P)

Posted before but not sure you saw it in all the rabble, how much memory? Too much is just as bad as too little, try 2 gigs if you haven't already.

I'd suggest calling your ISP, explain to them that you and the server team have tried everything they can.

 

Yeah, I really don't understand. I feel like only one of the head owners could understand why this issue is happening, but they have to deal with stuff like this all the time and I don't expect them to help me with me with my problem. I'm pretty much screwed unless someone is a professional with networking.

Just tried allocating 6 gigs, no difference. That wouldn't help internet connectivity, anyways.

 

As I said, too much memory is just as bad as too little, Java was not originally a gaming platform and it's 'trash collection' still needs work. In layman's terms, if you give it too much memory it will use it and you will get lag spikes...I can provide a link if necessary, but just trust me...go with 2 gigs for this server if you aren't already.
